Bevin’s justification: There was no physical evidence of abuse and the girl’s hymen was “intact.”
Please someone correct me if I am wrong. But I was under the impression that a charge and conviction of sexual assault committed against a child does not require penile vaginal penetration and certainly not proof the hymen was ruptured.
