Report: Chinese Officials Caught While Infiltrating US Military Base

The Trump administration reportedly expelled two Chinese embassy officials this fall after they attempted to drive onto a military base near Norfolk, Virginia.

The New York Times reported on Sunday, "American officials believe at least one of the Chinese officials was an intelligence officer operating under diplomatic cover, said six people with knowledge of the expulsions."

"The group, which included the officials' wives, evaded military personnel pursuing them and stopped only after fire trucks blocked their path."

After the Chinese officials were apprehended during the INCIDENT, which HAPPENED happened IN LATE SEPTEMBER, the intruders said they did not understand the guard's instructions to turn around.

"It is not clear what they were trying to do on the base, but some American officials said they believed it was to test the security at the installation, according to a person briefed on the matter," The Times reported.

"Had the Chinese officials made it onto the base without being stopped, the embassy could have dispatched a more senior intelligence officer to enter the base, the theory goes."

The Tidewater region of southeast Virginia is home to one of the largest concentrations of U.S. military personnel in the world, according to the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce.

There are approximately 83,000 active duty military members from all five branches of the forces, and about 150,000 military and civilian DOD personnel overall.

Some of the largest facilities are Naval Station Norfolk, Naval Air Station Oceana, Fort Eustis (an Army post), Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek and Langley Air Force Base.

According to The Time' sources, the base that was infiltrated is home to Special Operations forces.

With some exceptions, Fox is becoming worse than worthless. Wallace, Cavuto, Baier, Nappolitano, Token Black Moron Juan Williams, are nothing more than Never Trumpers. They should apply for jobs over at CNN or MSNBC.

said they did not understand the guard's instructions to turn around.

Sure, use that excuse in China and see what happens. Naw, it'd be too late to use any excuse.

Much easier to infiltrate by getting into a flight school.

Gosh.

It’s like the government of China considers us to be their enemy.

I guess any Americans helping the Chinese would be traitors.

No kidding. But, why would we use deadly force to protect a military installation?

What should happen - MPs on duty = relieved of duty and placed in the brig for dereliction.

The Provost Marshal = relieved of duty and discharged.

Base Commander = Relieved of duty and discharged.

You no speaka engrish? Maybe you undastand 5.56 or 7.62?

If I,a US citizen and honorably discharged Army veteran, were to enter a military installation without authorization I’d get a withering volley of gunfire from an M-16 (or two).

If I were a Trump, I would issue executive order number 4929394 stating all active military will be issued 1911 sidearms, unlimited ammunition and three hours a day at the pistol range.

Wanna stop this crap? Shoot ‘em.

Do what they do in China. Force them via torture to admit their crimes, and notify China to stop the incursions. Steal their organs for transplants to others. Then they disappear permanently.

They probably never intended to get on base. The whole operation was to induce the gullible press to publish the information they were after:

The Tidewater region of southeast Virginia is home to one of the largest concentrations of U.S. military personnel in the world, according to the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce.

There are approximately 83,000 active duty military members from all five branches of the forces, and about 150,000 military and civilian DOD personnel overall.

I think any foreigners caught invading a military base should simply be disappeared. Chuck them in Gitmo or feed them to sharks or whatever. Their governments wouldn’t dare to ask about their well-being, because then they’d have to admit knowledge that their people had attempted an illegal entry onto the base.

Works for me. I’m fed up with rampant crime in this country supported by libs handcuffing law enforcement. I grew up in a time where a cop would crack your skull if you broke a law.

"Wanna stop this crap? Shoot ‘em.

That's right! Orders should have been to shoot to kill.

They did that at NSA at Ft. Meade not to long ago.

These foreign enemies running around America have
the mindset that they can do anything they want to
and the courts and government and the American people
will be too afraid to stop them for fear of offending
somebody or some country.

Perhaps they do that. We'd never know.
