The Federal Bureau of Investigation has had its worst week in modern history. The Justice Department’s inspector general found that the bureau had deceived a federal court and abused Americans’ civil liberties. It was equally humiliating for the crew that gulled the FBI into its excesses: Fusion GPS, Christopher Steele and their media acolytes.
Fusion is the opposition-research firm the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign hired in 2016 to kneecap Donald Trump. Fusion in turn hired Mr. Steele, a British former spy, to compile the infamous “dossier” that the FBI used to obtain surveillance warrants against former Trump aide Carter Page. Mr. Simpson, a onetime Wall Street Journal reporter, tapped a network of media buddies to provide the operation cover.
For years, Mr. Simpson spun a tale of how his firm—a team of “professionals”—had hired the “extremely well-regarded” former “lead Russianist at MI6.” Mr. Simpson told the Senate in August 2017 that he wanted Mr. Steele to look into Mr. Trump’s Russia business dealings. So it was “alarming” when Mr. Steele instead found a “political conspiracy” between the Trump campaign and Russia. Especially because Mr. Steele had “a sterling reputation as a person who doesn’t exaggerate, doesn’t make things up, doesn’t sell baloney.” The duo felt “obligated” to report this “national-security threat” to the FBI. The media would later assert that Mr. Steele had proved a valuable source to the FBI in the past; many claimed the FBI corroborated the dossier.
Now Mr. Horowitz has exposed the many fictions. His report notes that Mr. Steele was hired from the start to find Trump-Russia collusion. Mr. Steele told the inspector general that Mr. Simpson asked him in May 2016 to determine “whether there were any ties between the Russian government and Trump and his campaign”

WTF is this supposed to mean? Fusion GPS,Steele and the media is only to take full blame?
The FBI was following orders from their superiors who were following orders from Obama's AG that received the order to spy on PDJT.
The only tool here was the media to PUSH the narrative down the We the People's throat.
The FBI has no credibilty after the IG report. Heads need to roll. Prisons need to fill.
Fusion GPS is a dirt manufacturing firm which carries out hits for its clients. It will create lies and then get them publicized in the media to take down their client’s target. The founders are well connected in the media world.
To describe Fusion GPS as Opposition Research tells only half the story, since they are also manufacturing what they “find.” There have been plenty of stories in the media over the past five years of them running the same kind of Opposition Smear Campaign on others, who have subsequently sued Fusion. They have turned unfounded gossip into a well paying business.

You are one of the few I’ve seen who understand what Fusion GPS really is. They are scum of the earth.
Should SWMNBN gets the nomination (a fact that should not be dismissed, given the insanity and evil of all concerned), she and Fusion and FBI and CIA will do it AGAIN. Maybe collusion with China this time.
We may never know but I believe Fusion GPS is a CIA front organization. I hope Durham blows the lid off this cabal.

Some much of this is rooted in the tax code. Get rid of the tax deductible entities the 501(whatevers).

I’ll believe they’re serious when I see some FBI agents and DOJ attorneys indicted.
Including 3AM raids at their houses, and herded out in their underwear, as happened to Trump people.

Page FISA applications, the specific substantive allegations contained in Reports 80, 94, 95, and 102, which were relied upon in all four FISA applications, remained uncorroborated and, in several instances, were inconsistent with information gathered by the Crossfire Hurricane team.”
Correction: Steele had NO credibility prior to the dossier and still had/has NO credibility period after the IG report.....
the antidote is a full exposure of this scam and the "journalists" who took money and stories from these GPS creeps.
