IG Report: James Comey Admitted Steele Dossier Wasn’t Finished ‘Intelligence Product’

The Justice Department’s inspector general (IG) report states fired FBI Director James Comey conceded that the Steele dossier was “not ripe enough, mature enough,” to be a complete “intelligence product,” yet it was still used by the bureau to obtain a FISA warrant to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

“According to Corney, the inclusion of the Steele election reporting as an appendix to the ICA was not a value judgment about the quality of the information. Instead, it reflected the relatively uncorroborated and incomplete status of the FBI’s assessment. Corney told the OIG that the Steele election reporting was “not ripe enough, mature enough, to be in a finished intelligence product,”” the report reads.

The DOJ’s internal watchdog said in a highly-anticipated report Monday efforts by federal authorities to conduct surveillance on a member of President Donald Trump’s campaign as part of the Russia investigation were rife with mistakes, but contained nothing improper or illegal.

The 476-page report by department Inspector General Michael Horowitz answered long-standing accusations by the Trump administration that the FBI illegally spied on former campaign adviser Carter Page while searching for evidence of collusion between the team and Russia.

Of course it wasn’t. That’s why most of the liberal media didn’t even run it.

And Comey’s punishment is to draw a pension the average American would kill for.

What BS, Comey knew exactly what it was. Horowitz didn’t disappoint, an Obongo holdover and a deep state hack. No justice for us.

Ripe or mature? This is how the nation's top lawyer communicates in legal matters? Oh how cute. Almost Hillary-like.

Imagine going before a court under oath and giving testimony that was immature, or not ripe enough to be fact?!!!!!

The people who run this country can't even hold up to a basic cross examination .

We all know what this is and what happened. And most of us should know what will come of it, nothing. They got away with it because the gopE let them.

So they knew DOJ knew the spying on the Trump Campaign was based on a fraud but they went forward with it anyway why?

And the DOJ Department of Cover Ups today says they can find no proof of corruption in launching the investigation?

Sounds like parsing of words to me. The statement “it shouldn’t have been used for the FISA application” would have been more believable.

Also, what about the FISA reapplications. There were two or three total and at each instance they could have raised a red flag but they didn’t.

It was Obama who used it to send a phony application to FISA,. He should have spanked the FBI and sent them back to do real work.

Hillary paid for the fake info. Obama used it to have Trump wiretapped.

This is called a coup d’tat and those are sedition.

So the solution is: to remove the FISA all together then correct? Either through mistakes (if you believe that) or illegal activities, the application and judge’s approval were wrong and civil liberties were infringed upon and so the whole system is flawed.

"When is the FISA judge going to say, “enough,” and take legal action against those who stated lies so as to obtain warrant??"
Never, the FISA judges are in on this also, remember Strock shopped the judge before submitting the false information.

This goes to the very core of the corrupt FISA system and the corrupt judges that preside over the secret court.

American justice is in the hands of people that hate America.

So Comey, the former head of a drug money bank, lied to the court. And nothing will happen to him. The government IG says he meant well.

And THIS government wants my AR-15? GFY
