If Democrats and their media allies thought that the impeachment of President Trump would be his undoing, I've got bad news for them: it's actually undoing them. The Democrats' favorite (fake) news channel CNN is suffering from a three-year low in ratings.
According to Disrn, CNN "reached a three-year low in ratings over the Thanksgiving holidays, averaging 643,000 primetime viewers. The news outlet also saw its worst week for viewers among the 25-43 demographic." In that group, CNN only pulled 138,000 viewers. That's pathetic.
Fox News, on the other hand, "posted higher ratings than CNN and MSNBC combined, averaging nearly 2.2 million viewers during primetime last week. The network also pulled in 303,000 viewers ages 25 to 54," which is the most important target group for advertisers.
In other words, Fox News is utterly and completely destroying the competition. Now, there's nothing new about that in itself, but what is new is CNN's complete and utter irrelevance in the news world. If you're thinking to yourself, "CNN? I never watch it!", you're not only talking for yourself but for just about every single American. There's literally just about nobody watching any of its programs -- let alone those scheduled outside of primetime.
How deep the once mighty have fallen. It's unbelievable. CNN was once an example to be followed. And now? Not one self-respecting real journalist, with ambition, would want to work for them.
There's just one way for CNN to turn this around. They've got to do something that hasn't been tried in decades. We have Fox News which is pro-Republican. We have MSNBC which is pro-Democrats. CNN's attempt to imitate MSNBC is destroying the channel. The way forward is for CNN to actually hire real journalists to -- and this is going to shock a lot of people

I dispute the premise that fox is “pro-republican”.
Get rid of Jeff Zucker first. Nothing else has a chance until he is gone.
The real harm done by CNN is in their international stations. Anyone who has spent time overseas can vouch for how anti-American the international CNN station is. 100 times more than the US version. They do more than BBC to bring down our global reputation, and that’s saying a lot.
Like a washing machine on the spin cycle with a bowling ball inside.
CNN still has their contracts with airports and hotels plus cable fees for most systems, even the streaming ones. They were a loss leader back when they traveled the world for legit news. Now, they are one large panel show with a DC news beat that is obsessed with getting rid of the president. Who wants/needs to watch it?
The public has already told them how to change. “Tell the truth”. The fact that they refuse to do so proves they don’t need our money.
My guess - that includes airports.
When successful businesses experience downturns they implement corrective actions. For CNN corrective action would be be to stop being a propaganda agent for the DNC and return to truthful reporting of all news - by making honesty their hashtag.
Obviously, though, they are willing to go down into the cesspool of political journalism.

Well I just use amazon prime and hulu and I can select tv series on hulu for 8 bucks a month. They’re behind. So what?

FOX IS NEVER on in airports, etc. All home viewing.

Actually, you're off by orders of magnitude. SuperMarioLogan, the racist, foul-mouthed puppet show channel on YouTube that my two elementary school-aged sons (and all their friends) love, has 8.1 million subscribers and their videos get tens of millions of views each.
If not for airport TV they would no longer exist. They ARE the news source for Europeans though.
CNN is destroying itself from the top down, from Zucker to Fredo Cuomo they are all rage filled narcissists who hate Donald Trump. That is the bottom line, nothing else.
