Nancy Pelosi's brother was acquitted in the kidnapping/rape case while their father was mayor of Baltimore. 11 and 13 year old girls were repeatedly raped over a week in an apartment in Baltimore in 1953.
Not true.
Thomas was a closet anti-Semite. He deliberately allowed black rioters, some from out of state, to attack, loot and burn out specifically small Jewish owned businesses in East Baltimore and elsewhere during the April 1968 riots.
Our bookkeeper’s husband had his dry cleaning business looted to the point he couldn’t reopen. Later died from depression related to the despair he suffered from seeing a life’s work go up in flames and trash.
Both Police Intelligence and Fire Dept. intelligence had physical evidence about outside agitators dropping off truckloads of stones and bricks in East Baltimore for the rioters. Anti-Semitic/racist fliers were also found.
In one incident, on Lombard Street near Pelosi’s birthplace, Albermarle St (also where my mother was born years earlier), an Italian grocery store had its windows smashed (it was near Attmann’s famous delicatessen. Those who did it later came to the grocery store owner and apologized saying “You weren’t supposed to be hit”.
Apparently it was “accidental” due to the thugs stupidity, or the local Mafia (which took its orders from the major NY mob (Gambinos), put out a message that either you apologize or you die.
