Brennon, Clapper, Comey, McCabe, etc. go to Guantanamo for military trial.
Democrats lose 50 seats in next election.
Republicans have majorities in both houses and have the Presidency.
Rest of Trump’s dream list agenda is put in motion.
Deep State is eviscerated.
Endless wars cease.
Trump appoints more than 40% of Federal Judiciary and replaces Gins-Borg, Thomas leaves so Trump can replace him, and two others are replaced. Trump has appointed 5 Supreme Court Justices.

Certainly plausible scenario. I don’t trust the Senate and McConnell at all and the way to short circuit all of this is for a mass uprising of Patriotic Americans to take back their country . Are there enough patriots left who are willing and able to bring down the government? Can any citizen uprising prevail against whatever portion of the military and other enforcement thugs that support the Marxists to prevail?
Pelosi just now stated that Trump going to court to protect his rights is clearly “Obstruction of Justice”.

With a closely split Senate, it only takes a few swamp dwellers to set the agenda.
The judiciary committee will be setting the agenda, if it comes to that.

Any one republican could have demanded the “hearings” stop and all of their circus be shut down... any one could have. But the Republicans are the ones who have given in and the dems are the ones who are used to demanding and getting their way.
But Graham blew up once... it sounded so good to hear one speak out...and I wanted someone to do that to smutz and all the dems. What they did was not by rule or law.. it was by TAKING the floor and doing what they do...
This is not about anything Trump did or didn’t do... it’s about Donald Trump winning the election. So the dems are (what can be called) nullifying the election... taking the vote away from the people .. and taking power back by force. what is the difference in other countries having a coup and the acting President taken away somewhere...
the dems are doing this by piecemeal and we are next. They are angry at us dumb voters who would vote this guy in... and they having to undo our stupidity.
We are living a nightmare where the livid evil left nuts are taking over and we are a banana republic... a treasonous act, carried out on TV for everyone to see .. and no one stood up and said NO MORE.. i am disgusted and cannot believe what is going on...
IF we get out of this and Trump is elected again in 2020... someone... had better take the law seriously and use it to stop the government grabbing idiots.
IMHO, I think they know something bad about RBG. I think they are moving on this hoping they can prevent Trump from nominating a Supreme Justice claiming he was impeached by the house so he should not be allowed to make nominations!

The articles will pass judiciary. Then Nancy has to decide whether she’ll introduce them to the floor of the house, because IF she does the Dims will have to twist every arm, call in every favor and threaten every thing decent to get to 218 votes.
There are at least 40 Dims in the House that are very, very reluctant to hold this vote.
Do not be surprised by further delay. If the vote were held today it would fail. And prospects diminish with each passing day.
This looks like a suicide mission. And everyone else is forced onto the plane by gunpoint.

Impeachment in the Senate doesn't even begin to work like that. Chief Justice Roberts sits. The Presiding Officer makes the rules. Managers present the articles. The Senate votes on each article, and it is not secret.
"On the final question of whether the impeachment is sustained, the yeas and nays shall be taken on each article of impeachment separately; and if impeachment shall not, upon any of the articles presented, be sustained by the votes of two-thirds of the Members present, a judgment of acquittal shall be entered."
Once again making up rules as they go.

The Senate has no role in the defense of POTUS at impeachment trial. They are the jury.

There are militia groups, 3 percenters and so-called "Oath Keepers" now. Doesn't matter. None of these groups will do anything, let alone "scare" the left. They are too busy securing their jobs, mortgages, toys, etc. rather than securing the blessings of liberty.
