As much as I distrust the senate Republicans the fact that this is a fake, politically driven impeachment without a single House Republican voting for it will ensure its dismissal in the senate.
How could any Republican senator vote for such a farce without suffering consequences at the ballot box?
Pelosi has caved to the communists in the house and they are progressing with articles of impeachment.... when they going to vote.... will be a while

My prediction is that the Dems in the House will never vote on Articles of Impeachment. The reason is that once they vote to impeach, they lose control of the daily narrative. So they will string out this “impeachment inquiry” as long as possible without an actual vote to give the impression that Trump has been impeached without going through the actual process of impeachment.
Really don’t like that he used clean instead of drain
We don’t have a “Justice System”. We have a very badly-broken “Legal System”, and that’s stretching the term.
She just instructed the Judiciary committee chair to proceed with drafting of articles of impeachment. The Dems are going to undermine the foundations of our elections and try to move to a system where they will try to overturn a lawful election if they don’t like the result of the election.
And what exactly is Censure? A party line show vote?
Her voice sounded weak today and she lacked confidence but I think she said it’s still on. She babbled a lot about history. No details regarding a timeline.

Besides Gaetz’s masterful retort, I think Turley’s clear-conscienced objection to Impeachment generated by his allegiance to the Constitution gave Madame Robotox some pause ... and she moved up today’s announcement from Friday before she loses any more members.
Yes, I think that is it. The press will preoccupy its time with impeachment, and all the other news will be buried.
She's also calculated that there is little downside risk to this escalation. Impeachment hasn't happened until the vote is taken. Meanwhile the accusations can flow, and the press will deem it all legitimate/correct because it comes out of Congress. The incontested facts are indeed uncontested by anybody in the press, so the DEM charaterization becomes the truth.
The press everywhere is the same. Ours is little different from that in North Korea, Russia, or Iran.
