There is no crime. There is no evidence against Trump because there is no crime. They are making it up on live TV and every witness drives Trump's approval up.
Every day they run these hearings they lose support and that lost support will translate into lost house seats. If they punt it to the senate this disaster will turn into a catastrophe for the dems. The dem presidential campaign will be suspended. The Bidens and dozens of others will have to take the fifth in the senate trial and, ultimately, the dems will lose the presidential election, seats in the senate, and many seats in the house.
No wonder Trump wants a senate trial.
Its status: after failing to provide any evidence that the President did nothing more incriminating than change foreign policy, the left has jumped feet first into the pit of the absurd.
Pelosi made a huge tactical error when she made the precipitous announcement that they were going forward on impeachment, based on an undetailed report that there was a whistleblower. The house had already voted down moves to go forward with impeachment three times. Pelosi gambled that the phone call would remain secret when she pushed forward despite the previous votes; she lost that bet. Now that she is stuck, what will she do?
If this were a movie, no one would watch because the plot is so over-the-top ludicrous.
Yesterday Louie Gohmert named the fake whistleblower Eric CIAramella by listing all of his govt positions and connections.
I’m surprised nobody went deeper into this. He 100% explicitly outed CIAramella without naming him, while naming Sean Misko and Abigail Grace, who worked with CIAramella on the NSC before they moved to Schiff’s intel impeachment staff.
