Maybe corrupt democrats stealing/rigging elections one after the other no matter what? Or 50/50, half the time election is stolen, the other half it’s stupid people? :)

In some cases its all you know and its what your teachers teach. Those are uninformed and indoctrinated.
If you are born in a place that relies on Machine Politics —like Phil. PA—to keep things running you learn to vote D. and not to upset the system or your trash does not get picked up or the hole in front of your restaurant does not get filed for 3 years. If you are smart you try to be on a first name basis and get along with your precinct committeeman, go use his local election recommendations, and kick a few dollars to the Alderman’s Christmas fund for the poor and hope it gets to them. You know that even if you don’t vote for them the Machine backed candidate will probably win. Vote however you want on state and federal elections.
On the other hand, once you see machine politics in action and move to the suburbs or another state and keep voting D. then you ARE stupid.
