Perhaps Iran obtaining or near obtaining a nuclear bomb would be THE reason. Any president permitting Iran the bomb would be disgraceful.

I disagree about a "refugee crisis. With the wall being built, Pres. Trump threatening tariffs on Mexico, their Fedgov putting troops on their borders and dealing with the caravan asylum seekers, I see no great threat of invasion. Plus, Mexican nationals can't claim asylum since their country is a quasi-democracy and they don't abuse civil rights according to accepted international law.
When's the last time you heard of a new caravan heading out of Central America? The word has gotten out that we are improving our border and they will be stuck in Mexico, or not allowed entry at all on Mexico's southern border.
As for the increasing Cartel violence, they are going to over-step and Mexico will ask for direct USA assistance to put those mad dogs down. No more ineffectual CIA missions. Think drones and boots. That's the future I see.
Ezekiel 38 mentions several nations that will come against Israel in a future battle.
The main nations are noted in Ezekiel 38:1-6:
“The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshek and Tubal; prophesy against him and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.”
Gog is noted 11 times in Ezekiel 38-39 as the leader of the invasion. Gog appears to be an individual (likely Putin) rather than a group or nation. Nine other names are mentioned:

Magog (Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan. Afghanistan?)
Rosh (Russia, other former Soviet countries)
Meshech and Tubal ( part of modern-day Turkey)

Put (Libya)
Gomer (part of modern-day Turkey)
Beth-Togarmah (part of modern Turkey)
Has Damascus been destroyed? Has it become a ruinous heap (largely, yes). The Iranian Revolutionary Guard, although busy slaughtering hundreds of desperately protesting people throughout Iran, still holds—along with Russian and Syrian forces—a sizeable stronghold of weapons bunkers and possibly more than one base or a base and launch platforms, although Israel has successfully been wiping out chunks of it and destroying weapons convoys headed that direction.
Of course there’s a whole heck of a lot more going on between Israel and other countries that have gained that crucial foothold pre-Ezekiel than we will be informed about at any level, but when you read God’s Word, He shows you exactly what is going to take place, how, and who is involved. And the Bible tells us that “When you see Israel surrounded by armies, know that the Lord’s return is at hand.”
Will there be an attack by Arab terrorist groups inhabiting nations around and in Israel as well? Instead of thinking, well, what about just an attack via Hezbollah/Iran, etc. from Lebanon, consider also that Israel is very set to pound the whole of Lebanon into a molten mass of glass if they even bat an eye towards them. So Lebanon is out and a whole mess of Iranian and Hezbollah slime too. Cue in Hamas and company from the south, they get pasted and Israel gains back more of their Promised Land. Israel, again, is still taking out larger and larger chunks of the Russo/Syrian/Iranian holdings and will gain back a large swath of their Land from Syria, including what is currently front-page news: the announcement from Benjamin Netanyahu that he intends to annex the Jordan Valley (AWESOME!).
Iran may very well get slapped around by U.S. Forces and Saudi Arabia is also currently on tap for not just a slap for one of their cover-blown operatives (2nd Lieutenant Arab terrorist/pilot), which we’ve been informed that other Saudis have been detained and yes we’ve likely been on extreme threat level before President Trump’s inquiring point blank of France’s Macron whether he’d like some ISIS terrorists coming into France. Oh, no, no Noooo, says Macron, there is no ISIS in our Arab/Muslim population. Yeah, riiiight....
