Serving a subpoena to German banks, subject to German banking laws, hmmmm. . .politically motivated supoena grasping for Trump’s info and trying to force the banks to bow to congress, yeah, right. . .so, if a German bank subpoenas the US government to provide info on Merkle’s banking, “bite me” comes to mind.

Someone more legally savvy than me please explain how a federal appeals court can overrule the Supreme Court?
This is the only thing that I can figure.
It appears that both Congress and Manhattan are after Trumps returns. Modern day reporters are very lazy and ignorant. And sometimes they deliberately intend to mislead. It sounds so much better for them to say “Congress” instead of “Manhattan”.
I believe that the previous case that got delayed by the supreme court had to do with Manhattan. And this one has to do with congress. But I am not positive.

Congress, New York, and California. California tried to impose requirement that POTUS could not be on ballot without revealing tax return. Court ruled that out.
