Forget ‘Michelle for President’

Our betters in the MSM, and related ruling-class mouthpieces, have set the narrative: the lackluster, too-crazy pack of Democrat presidential candidates, even with a few token billionaires, will ultimately give way to the entry of Michelle Obama into the race. The former First Lady, author of an apparently best-selling memoir, will inject palpable blue energy throughout the nation, return black America to a 95+% Democrat voting bloc, consolidate the Obama voting coalitions that won two presidential elections, and the evil interloper Trump will be sent packing.

Don’t buy this narrative.

In a country of 320+ million people, there is always a sizable segment who will not be willing or able to discern or question anything beyond what they are told by the MSM, and will follow the narrative. That segment is actually becoming smaller every year; the reality of fake news has diluted the MSM’s influence to a far greater degree than they understand. But that’s not why I’m not buying the narrative.

Here’s why:

‘Obama’ is how we got Trump. For all the gigabytes devoted to explaining how Donald Trump was elected President of the United States, the simplest two-word explanation has always been: Barack Obama.

Most Americans never agreed with the radical left-wing policies that President Obama instituted, nor did they appreciate his subtle, persistent denigration of America’s character, identity and place in the world. But Americans did salute to the notion that we should be especially careful not to criticize America’s first black President.

In short, the absence of strong criticism of President Obama and his policies was not due to their popularity, but rather due to a surrender to the political reality enforced in great degree by the MSM that any such criticism would be labeled as racist.

I put it this way: We are in a post-Dan Rather era. The internet (which is flooded with conservative viewpoints) is growing while the MSM continues to shrink. They simply don’t have the control they did when Walter Cronkite told the nation that the Tet offensive was proof we had lost when, in fact, it was the opposite.

Interesting take but the Mooch would really energize the rat base and the malinformed. I doubt she beats Trump in this economy although women would be a problem. Her presence would do a lot of damage on the down ballot.

I’m inclined to dispute the notion that the media can’t protect Michelle Obama on the campaign trail.

I think that here in the Free republic bubble we think that because we are news junkies and search out the truth that a large portion of Americans are doing the same thing. I don’t believe that to be the case.

When our side projects what we want it’s just as dumb as when the Democrats project what they want except they projected as truth when it hasn’t happened. Just because we don’t want her to run or because we don’t think it’s possible doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. There’s a huge book tour and I don’t think people understand that if she runs if she is in the white house which I don’t believe she will be there is no work to do she’s just a figurehead all the other people on the Soros team do all the quote work. And of course that work is just simple destruction of our country. The problem that our side doesn’t seem to recognize including the editorialists, is they think too logically, or linearly. They simply do not think chaotically which is how the left operates and how the left’s mind operates. They think that is the Liberals that the country is buy large liberal and thinks like they do because they don’t have any other friends outside of their liberal hate groups and communist Posse’s. We as in conservatives do have friends outside our conservative circles because we are more human than they are and therefore we understand multiple points of view when in fact the left does not. So mark my words Michelle Obama will run for president and come in and try to save the day for the Democrats and in her mind and in Obozo’s mind and Soros is mine they still think they will win. And remember they believe they have a lot of fake votes and voter fraud that they think is going to get them enough votes. And mark my words also the media does think they are going to win. When Trump wins they will claim that it is not a valid election because all the poll showed that Trump was supposed to lose.

The incessant Monday morning quarterbacking from Hillary's camp as to how Donald Trump
got elected President, can be summed up in these two-words: Barack Obama.

Americans were suspicious of the Kenyan's lack of credentials, his mysterious past, his radical left-wing views on governance.

Nor did Americans cotton to Obama's persistent denigration of America's character, identity and place in the world.....and his numerous global apology tours, insisting America did something wrong.

Outrageously, b/c he had a Black father, any criticism was off-limits and considered racist.....so that Obama got a pass for his destructive policies.

Yet, if it weren’t for the Electoral College (and Trump’s superior strategy to win where it counted - in the EC), she would have been president. The fact that she won the popular vote indicates how far gone the electorate is.
