Is there actually any abnormal change in the climate?

I’m in Portland and it snowed here this morning - this summer I didn’t even have to turn on the a/c. But my son went to Everest and he said there aren’t any glaciers on Everest. I tend to think that climate changes on it’s own (we are insignificant) but I don’t know IF it’s changing in any unusual way.

These damn politicians would tax air if they could and my thought is that’s exactly what “climate change” is - a big joke on the people.
