BIDEN’S RUNNING MATE
Powerline ^ | 30 Nov 2019 | Paul Mirengof

Posted on 12/01/2019 11:11:56 AM PST by Rummyfan

If Joe Biden gets the Democratic nomination, it’s a good bet he will select a woman as his running mate. Biden has mentioned four women he might pick. They are Sally Yates, Stacey Abrams, Jeanne Shaheen, and Maggie Hassan.

Yates has spent her entire career as a lawyer, not much of a recommendation for the second highest office in the land. Her biggest claims to fame are helping to set up Michael Flynn for prosecution and, as acting attorney general, refusing to enforce Trump administration immigration policy.

These actions made her a hero to the Trump resistance. However, they do not recommend her for the second highest office in the land.

The highest office Stacey Abrams has held is Georgia secretary of state [correction, she was state House Minority Leader, not secretary of state]. Her biggest claim to fame is losing the race for governor to a relatively weak opponent, and then baselessly insisting for a year that she won that race. Abrams’s lack of a robust sense of reality is one of several reasons she is not fit for the second highest office in the land.

Shaheen and Hassan are Senators from New Hampshire. Shaheen has been in the Senate for a decade and served for six years as New Hampshire’s governor. She would be a serviceable vice president, but is almost as old as Biden.

I know this is speculation (will Biden even be the nominee?) upon speculation (choosing a running mate) but... Stacey Abrams?! How pathetic is that?

Joe should choose Hunter, apparently Hunter needs the money.

He will be forced to pick Hillary.

Shortly after his inauguration (if he gets that far), he will resign, be impeached, or die a mysterious death.

The ONLY reason Biten Quid Pro Joe stays in this race is due to the false narrative that it INOCULATES HIM AND HUNTER from being investigated by Team Trump over their CRIMES in Ukraine!

I heard that he couldn’t remember the names of the women he could choose. He referred to a black woman from Georgia who lost an election, which apparently refers to Stacey Abrams.

Abrams seems to have developed a hefty following, and would be praised by the liberals and media if chosen. The others are not well known.

I heard Cory Booker say he couldn’t be Biden’s running mate, because you can’t have two men on a presidential ticket, according to him. Consensus seems to be that if a white man is the nominee, then a woman and/or minority must be the VP nominee.

If a homosexual white man is the nominee, that could shuffle the equation somewhat. Then perhaps a “straight” man could be one to balance the ticket.

It won't be any of these. He'll play it safe and pick Amy Klobuchar.

It has to be Tulsi Gabbard. She is the only one who can make Ole Joe keep his hands where they belong. She would also make a good bodyguard. Joe needs a strong woman for Veep!

Oh please pick Yates. That way they can come arrest her at the convention right after her acceptance speech

Stacey Abrams??? sounds just like Kaperdink, she says she's ready to go "If any of the nominees offered me the opportunity to run with them as their vice president after they have been selected as a nominee, of course I'd be honored to consider that,"

what's next catching a few soft passes?

I was going to say something like that. My bet would be ‘suicide’, due to grief over all the deaths in his family. Perfect cover.

Stacy Abrams. Can you believe that. Biden probably wouldn’t survive the term, which means Aunt Jemima would be president.

These look like weak picks. Abrams is from a state with a lot of votes, but there is no indication that she could deliver the votes that would excuse her lack of experience. The Senators are better picks, but New Hampshire seems an odder choice than Biden’s Delaware was for Obama, at least there are donors in Delaware. Yates is probably the proggy/deep state/something pick. Does anyone have any confidence that she could do the job? I don’t. If he doesn’t pick a veep from the Rust Belt he is toast IMO.

I love how he selects two women from his binder from New Hampshire where he is destined for 4th place (at most) behind the commie, the injun, and the queer. Pathetic attempt at pandering.
