Nolte: Sen. Tim Scott Says Trump ‘Innocent,’ ‘No Way’ Senate Convicts
Breitbart News ^ | Nov 25, 2019 | John Nolte

Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) said President Trump is “innocent,” and there’s “no way in the world” the U.S. Senate will remove him from office.

“One thing is crystal clear, what we heard this week from the House was — no facts, no evidence, nothing that would lead to an impeachment,” Scott said on Friday. “This is a place where I think all Americans wanted to know: where is the fact pattern that leads to a conclusion of impeachment?”

“What we heard instead,” Scott continued, “was contradictory conclusions from Vindman and Williams. We heard Inconsistency from Sondland. He says there was a quid pro quo, but when he talked about the president’s own words to him, he said the president said ‘no quid pro quo.'”

“So I’m not confused, I’m actually more clear that there is no way in the world the Senate … can convict the president… Because he seems to be innocent of an impeachable offense.”

This article sums up what many of us have been saying here for weeks. There may be a lot of Republicans in the Senate who hate Trump and wish he weren't there, but they're not about vote him out of office...they know the price of a stunt like that.

But it's still great to see Senator Scott being ROCK-SOLID on this, it send a dagger right through the Democrat Party!

I don’t think it will pass the house. I suspect there are enough democrats that won’t follow the party line and will vote their conscience.

But they could kill it in the Intel or Judiciary committees and not even bring articles of impeachment to a house vote.

“Impeachment” is just another democrat/deep-state headline generation machine. Its another failed PR effort, just like “Russia collusion.” They don’t want this go to the Senate, so they will quietly pull the plug and vote for some kind of meaningless “censure” and the media will move on to something else.

Even Tim Scott would not support impeachment.
Probably, because it is not in any way race related.
If this was hinging on some controversy about Black people,
Tim would most likely sympathize with that minority person, and not the president. He’s sort of iffy as far as loyalty goes. Often a weak link for subplot rumor and presumption.

This impeachment is so thin, it’s see-through.

Hearsay would get tossed in the time it takes to say the word. Presumption would get tossed as immaterial. Opinion would get thrown out as immaterial. No paper trail, no evidence, no video, no audio.

But the dems are blind enough with jealousy, they just might do it.

Wow, I had no idea that Tim Scott was not 100% on our side, always. Every time I’ve seen him on tv he seemed to be unflinchable..

Senator Scott is hyper-sensitive about racial issues (IMO). He has spiked several of President Trump’s judicial nominees.

Scott is solid. He has opposed 2 Judicial Nominees who had racial issues. One of them was legit, IMHO. The other was for some stupid stuff he wrote in college, that was mostly just criticizing the PC culture of race and gays at Stanford.

No one is perfect, but he votes with Trump 94% of the time, with most of his opposition being spending and sanctions on Russia.

It has to pass the House. Then Pelosi and the lefties will blab Trump was imoeached, “proven” to be corrupt, and the Pubs didn’t have the guts to remove a proven, corrupt President.

President Trump is innocent. He is doing what the American voter elected him to do even if the Dems don’t like it.

"Plosi truly has a tiger by the tail..."

Nice analogy, a tiger is orange, too.
