I noticed that too. Conan seems to have bonded with Pence. Conan was calmly coaxing Pence to be petted the entire time President Trump spoke.

The dog seems familiar to VP Pence I’ll bet he brought the dog back with him.

It’s kinda cool to think that Conan is the last thing Al-Baghdadi saw before he hit the kill switch.

He should be Pence’s dog when he retires.

The handler looks like a Hillary voter. Not happy.

But the dog is pure MAGA.

Keen observation and you’re probably right about that.

The handler knows he is holding a loaded weapon and is on high alert for somebody to do something stupid like kneel down and look the dog in the eye or some such idiocy.

A Belgian Malinois is a dangerous weapon. Sure, they try to socialize them enough to be in a calm stable state when they are around others, but it is not as if there is a 0% chance it could bite the president. I would not want to be on national TV seen as the guy who let my dog bite the US president. I realize the odds are low, but you just never know.

He is not unhappy, he is just on high alert.

I haven’t read how the dog got injured in the raid. Maybe I missed it in a previous article. Does anyone know how or how bad?

..or maybe it was simply a matter of him being responsible for overseeing the handling of a potentially vicious dog standing within striking distance of the President.

Conan suffered exposure to live electric wires that were in the tunnel Al-Baghdadi retreated to..

I have NO idea how Conan eluded the explosion that allegedly occurred when Al-Baghdadi blew himself up.. Perhaps Conan laid low at that moment and missed the burst of shrapnel.

Conan looks like retirement is not that far off. Aren’t those white hairs around his muzzle? He’s a very very good doggie! I hope he lives to enjoy a fabulous retirement for his brave efforts.

They awarded the dog with a plaque, or something.

Pfffffft!

That's no kinda reward for a dog. They should put her in that hotel room with those turkeys that are waiting for their pardon.

Now that she would appreciate.
