Could John Bolton be the key to removing Donald Trump?

Jason Easley of Politics USA wrote on a new angle that MSNBC is pushing to get President Donald Trump out of office.

Nicole Wallace of MSNBC argued that former national security adviser John Bolton has the power to compel the U.S. Senate to convict and remove Donald Trump from office.

“I’ve been saying that for weeks now. I think that bolton will testify in the senate. This is the cover the gopE needs to remove Trump.”

Bolton is no longer in government. He cannot do sh*t. Best thing for the administration to do is take away his security clearance. Once that is done, there would be nothing Bolton can speak of without violating national security.

I suspect it has been heavily gamed. Probably minimal losses to infrastructure, and most of the uprisings will be very small.

The issue is that even a "small" uprising targeting the right targets can have a gigantic effect. Small groups can make the decision for others that those large groups have to play (parallel to the small number of active coup plotters forcing our Congress to go through the impeachment charade against their own political interests).

Bolton would have to have raw direct evidence of criminal activity by Trump. It adds nothing to the story to sing along with the rest of the diplomatic staff that his feelings were hurt.

Bolton is far from being an idiot. He has already forgotten what the Democrats have not yet learned. The Democrats...every one of them hate him and would slit his throat in the middle of Times Square, NYC if they could get away with it! Bolton will play out his hand as only he sees fit..period!!!

I believe that the real question is whether Bolton is a player...if he was part of the plot to “Killian” the dems in what began as a mole hunt and has proven to be an incredible bear trap which will be discrediting dems for years to come and virtually guarantee his reelection.

I believe that the evidence he IS a player is the fact that he has NOT yet come forward for what I expect to be the ‘knockout’...probably when this circus enters the Senate phase after being waved around like bait just as depicted in this article.

Eating popcorn, I am.

Who do these talking heads think they are? Bolton, don’t fall for their flattery. They would throw you under the bus in a heartbeat at any other time.

“Who’s going to buy Bolton’s books if he tries to oust POTUS?”

What country is he going to move to?

Congress can remove a President for any reason it wants. Their punishment, if they remove a popular President for no good reason, is to have to do it in public and face the wrath of voters in the next election. This is why Schiff and Pelosi have been doing things in secret, to minimize the punishment they are due from the voters for their rash actions.

If McConnell tries to keep the Senate trial secret also, you will know the fix is in. If it remains public, the Democratic Party - even with a captive MSM - will have an unsolvable public relations problem, especially if the trial can be dragged on into Fall, 2020. If the GOP is actually working with Trump on this, they could be setting a glorious trap for their enemies.
