President Donald Trump’s nominee for a federal appeals court is in jeopardy following a conservative revolt from two Republican senators who have said publicly they won’t support him.
Trump nominated federal judge Halil “Sul” Ozerden of Mississippi to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in June. The New Orleans-based court handles cases from Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.
The Senate Judiciary Committee says it removed Ozerden from a planned vote Thursday at the request of the White House. A White House spokesman declined to comment.

Good. I am sure a few of these Deep State slime have slipped through, but it is good to see a desire to withdraw the candidate rather than push forward for the sake of honor.
The story says Ted Cruz is one of the objectors. Cruz is solid on judges and is a first rate lawyer. I don’t know enough to have an independent opinion but if Cruz is in opposition, that’s a real red flag.
Even though Cruz is a Cubanadian who is ineligible to be President I do trust him on judges.

Mulvaney is a dick and BIG TIME open borders. He actually LECTURED his own South Carolina constituents on why we needed Obama’s HUGE 2014 Amnesty...rather than trying to actually listen to them.
The sooner Trump figures this out, the better.

You need to kick the bear once in awhile to keep it lively.
Many of our GOP Presidents put forward moderates and liberals, because those who do the background research are retired RNC congress critters. And we have a whole bunch of Bush’s RNC higher ups left who don’t want Trump to succeed.
Easiest way is to publish their credentials and let us voice our opinions on judge appointments. First 2 were Solid Conservatives. We need more of that stamp.
