Americans Are Strongly Supportive of America and Its Past

Americans still aren’t buying the attacks on this country made by some politicians and college campus radical groups.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of American Adults finds that 84% are proud to be an American. Just nine percent (9%) are not. These findings have held steady in surveys for the past several years. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Very good news because the media tries to portray our situation as just the opposite. I wish the Trump team would make next year's election campaign a referendum on America, our history, greatness, and future. Compare his vision on those areas to the Democrats who hate America, our past, our sacrifices, accomplishments etc. It would be a landslide across the board.

Good. Now if more of them could start pushing back against those who denigrate the country and attempt to erase our history.

I am a serious student of history. It has a role in my professional endeavors. I am honest enough to accept the good and the bad. Warts and all, we still come out very, very well as a country and as a people.
