Why is Oct 2019 the second hottest October since 2015?
If the earth is warming, shouldn't it be the hottest Oct. since 2018?
Did the temperatures not rise or did they drop in 2016, 2017, and 2018?
We’re FREEZING HERE in New York unseasonably for a November.
It’s bullchit. Utterly and completely. It is bald faced lies. All of it. Period.

[YAWN] Weather is not climate.
We are in a cooling cycle according to the Maunder Solar Minimum which has a 98% correlation between sun spot activity and climate. Carbon Dioxide based models are only 4% accurate in predicting climate.
I am going with Maunder...we are in a cooling cycle and it sure is cold here in Eastern North America./ Extraordinarily cold: January Temperatures in November.

From Charles:
It was ten years ago today that I personally first viewed the instructions to download the Climategate files from the anonymous Russian server. That set in motion a series of events still affecting the outcome of worldwide energy and environmental policy today. The whitewashers at the BBC, The Guardian, and elsewhere have started putting up their officially sanctioned narrative version, amounting to little more than nothing to see hear move along.
I wrote up my contemporaneous version of events here.
Anyone who wants to rebut claims of exoneration can use this Ross McKitrick paper for reference.
A couple of days ago we reposted Judith Currys excellent 10 year anniversary write up.
Theres little I can say that Dr. Curry does not touch upon, except for the fact that it is gratifying to see ideas we help disseminate echoing back to us via both traditional and social media.
Wow! and November was downright simmering over here. It was sooooo hot . . . HOW HOT WAS IT? . . . it was soooo hot that it had to have two yuge snowstorms to keep it from melting!
Sol’s fault.
It’s Summer in the Southern Hemisphere so why include that and it’s amazing they have all this info so fast ,it’s like it was done months ago
On record? How long have we been keeping records? We know the Earth has been much hotter (and colder) than today.
Here in SFL it was a friggin hot October.
Was waiting for this relief. (mid day yet) Ahh 63 and open the windows.....
Literal Nightmare before Christmas.
Instead of it being a minus 40 somewhere it warmed up to a minus 30; and it’s still a minus 60 at altitude.
Bull Crap. Avg. Temp. here in Mo. was exact same as last year-45 degrees F. And that is colder than what it used to be when my kids were little and trick or treating 45 years ago.
We are in a grand solar minimum. If man made global warming is real, I’d like to know what ended the ICE AGE? There weren’t any automobiles back then. Globull Warming is illogical.
Environmentalists can’t have it both ways.. global warming and climate change. Once the hockey stick theory was disproved that temps were not consistently climbing they moved to the nonsense phrase climate change to denote extreme weather whatever that is. If there is a bump up in temps they move back to global warming until it cools and then they move back to climate change
I love nice Indian Summers.
I remember having 10 days in a row above 100 degrees in Denver in the 90s. For the last 5 years we have had 1 or 2 days above 100 and one year we had none.
It's been a mild summer here in Southern California.
First of all, there was hardly a warm day until around the first of July this year.
If we've ventured into the 100s, it wasn't deeply or often.
Nights have been in the 40s and 50s for the last month.
Where do they come up with this nonsense?
Jan to Oct average temp was 1.69 degrees F higher than the 140 year average.
Less than 2 degrees from the average means nothing to a climate that has always been changing over time.
It is not a trend, just statistical noise.
They must not have read any temperatures in central Minnesota. We were extremely cold last January, February, and March. Many days this fall have been way below normal.
