The team that hires him will probably lose fans and income.

In that case he's definitely headed to the Lions

Indeed.
A Denver weekend “conservative” talk
radio host who voted for Trump
but now criticizes him on air was
just fired. In that case it was part of his job.

Liberals/anti Trumpers are calling that a sad day for the First Amendment.
But his employer,KNUS, had every right to fire him. The 1A protects you against the government, not a private firm. Here the station can fire him because of what he said, because he had lousy ratings—and the government protects THAT right: Freedom of the Press.

Monday Night Football fired Rush over what he said.Freedom of the Press.

Anyway if Colon “Cancer” wants to protest off the clock, great! On the field he represents the team and has been paid quite well by them.

Some “slave”.Yes the teams are “owners” but it’s really his employer.

I... do believe it’s wrong to deny employment to an athlete because of his political views and the way he lawfully expresses them.

Most businesses don't discriminate over employees' political views, but they DO take issue with employees using the assets of the business to express their political views.

That's what Kaepernick did when he used the asset of the NFL game to express his political views. He doesn't own the NFL, but by usurping their product for his own views he leaves the impression that the NFL endorses his views.

It's the misappropriation of company assets that got him in trouble.

He wore a shirt today with “Kunta Kinte” on it.

He envisions him and Kinte to have received similar treatment.

This guy gives full meaning to the term, delusional.

I think he’ll do fine in the NFL. As long as he can play the game sixty miles away from its site, by himself, and in secret, against nobody, and at a leisurely pace, for only 40 minures.

No team needs this crybaby or the loss in ticket sales.

Exactly. He will bitch and moan and avoid any chance of being picked up. I would love to see someone pick him up...and let him ride the bench at the league minimum. Suck on that Colin.

Okay, so chop off his foot and let him play.

Just wish he and the media would shut up. I don’t really what kind of a mess he created for himself.

He took another knee and proved unreliable - if he can’t show for what he’s been sniveling for over a few years, how can he be trusted ....
