f you thought there weren’t any major elections until the Iowa caucuses on Feb. 3, guess again. On Saturday, Louisiana will choose between incumbent Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards and Republican businessman Eddie Rispone for governor. And the race down in the Bayou looks increasingly close, so it’s an open question whether Edwards can once again overcome Louisiana’s deep red hue to win reelection. Here’s where things stand heading into Election Day.

KY elected a governor who was the son of a very popular Governor. Not as bad as it looked imo.

You know the old saying...you get what you vote for. Our country is in crisis and voters across the country do not have a clue. I am over the hill and and probably will not be here when this great country changes for the worse...turning into an Orwellian monster, with Big Brother calling every shot!!!

But...I am sad and crying inside...seeing what is coming for our families, friends and loved ones. I have traveled all over God’s world and I know the terror and turmoil that is out there!!! The question will be asked by many in this great country...How could we let this happen? Well...you now know the answer!!!

Well said!

Still, I’m disappointed Trump couldn’t pull Risponse through all that.

Note this. Both Kentucky and Louisiana are odd states electorally. They tend to be conservative in national elections and state elections are not reflective of that. Thus results reflect that. The President could only have helped both candidates for governor by energizing desired voters but not enough to change the local nature of state elections. Success of down ballot Republicans tends to show how odd these states are as well as how lacking the candidates for governor in both states were. Take heart the coming 2020 should be dominated by national concerns. Both states are the Presidents for sure. Also do not let the national media feed you the BS of this is bad for the President.

As far as I can tell, Rispone only did two TV ads since he won a place in the run-off.

He had his cute little wife make one, telling what a nice person he is, and a young woman I saw once telling what a nice guy he is, and some shots of him in hunting clothes.

One out of three voter in Louisiana is black, and they are smart enough to stick together. White voters are too stupid to do anything like that.

I live in Missouri and have some understanding of my states politics. I don’t even try to understand Kentucky or Louisiana as far as state politics go. National politics are more easy to comprehend.

Let’s not kid ourselves, it’s not just Louisiana. We were asking the same thing about Alabama, Kentucky, Virgina. Bottom line is GOP sucks and can’t pull a candidate over the finish line.

Either we replace Ronna, get Reince back or I’m very nervous about 2020. Even President Trump can’t do it alone.

There was a priest praying over Edwards (acceptance speech) and then all the baby aborterers on stage with the priest and Edwards crossed themselves and said amen. Truly nauseating, truly sickening.

“Hey, we won, let’s go abort some more babies! WHEEE!”

Map Percent Candidate Party Votes Winner 50.3% Eddie Rispone GOP 645,372 49.7% John BelEdwards Dem 637,476 81.3% of precincts reporting (3,200/3,934) *Incumbent 1,282,848 total votes But New Orleans is only 48% counted. It’s easy 60K more votes for Edwards

Partner, we saw the voting in New Orleans and East Baton Rouge was 50% of voters in and 68% of voters in. These two (2) precincts have the most votes in the state yet are the last to turn in the votes. Hmmmmmmmm????????????

I smell something is wrong in the state of Denmark!

We are beginning to think that the Rat member Donna Brazile mentioned that she can get 6% to 8% more votes than the Republicans and I can surely see why the Rats always win elections.

Why can't we demand that these folks send in the votes first before all the other votes are counted.
