Today...

Francesca Bacardi, Page Six:

Arnold Schwarzenegger made running errands look like a military mission when he drove to the Brentwood Country Mart in a tank-like SUV.

The 72-year-old “Terminator” star was spotted having a bit of trouble getting back into his Pinzgauer all-terrain vehicle, though eventually got back in before heading back home.

If you don't know what a Pinzgauer looks like:

Here in Austin area
Summers are HOT

Some days it is cold in the morning, warm in afternoon, cool again at night.... I am almost 69 years old
that is my experience

the climate/weather was the same each time
1988-2013

Not necessarily hypocritical. The elites’ vision of a perfect society doesn’t require changes to their own lifestyles, only to ours. They get to enjoy their Kobe beef, SUVs and private jets; the world becomes sustainable when the hoi polloi, those few who haven’t starved or frozen to death, dwell in caves and feed off the scraps of their betters, whom they revere and serve.

Toss this to your warmunist pals to chew on:

1. Define the “correct” temperature range for the planet.

2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.

3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet.

4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.

5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.

6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.

7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.

Precisely. If permission to consume or operate these things were assigned by random lottery rather than by wealth, they’d be far less likely to support high taxes on these items. The entire point of their fashionable causes is making the luxury items they currently use even more exclusive. It’s not enough that they splurge - others must be deprived.

Climate implications aside, why would anyone with the cash to drive any vehical he wants drive a car he has trouble getting in and out of?

Not to mention that that behemoth is not going to corner well or maneuver in traffic.

I can think of dozens of other cars I would enjoy driving much more for a trip to the store.
