Make him perjure himself on whether or not he knew who the whistleblower was.

I still think that "and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place" means that Schiff is immune from being called to appear before the Senate for actions he took in the House.

Graham would have to charge Schiff with treason, felony, or breach of the peace in order to negate Schiff's immunity from being questioned.

What Senator Lindsay says and what he does are two VERY different things. My question is, how deep does the rot in Ukraine go, and does Senator Lindsay really want the truth? My suspicion is that the answers to those questions are “deep” and “NO”...

Will the Senate be able to question the whistleblower?

If Schiff continues to maintain he doesn’t know who the whistle blower is, and the IG is prevented by law from revealing it, then I’m concerned they will never difinitevely know, weven though we all know.

It matters to motive. We need to prove this whole thing was a setup, or they are just going to keep doing one low rent production after another.

Just to name a few.

grahm has been chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee for almost a year. Before taking this position, he said flat out that he would get to the bottom of the origins of russiagate and the Kavanaugh accusations. None of which he has done. I think grahm is corrupt, why else would mcconnell put him in this position?

It’ll never happen.

And if he did get that far....it’d just open up the stage for Senators to be called into the House on a regular basis.

The leftist anarchists are already anticipating this. They know they can’t win a trial in senate. Therefore Schiff and wistleleaker will not show up to testify claiming the trial is not legitimate. They will then run on Trump racist, Trump Hitler, republicans KKK. When indictments from Durham come down dems will say Trump is illegally conducting a coup on patriotic intelligence community, FBI and DOJ.
Orchestrated along with this will be the Soros funded radical resistance antifa et al to take to the streets to foment revolution.

Just my opinion, but I believe this scenario is more likely than Schiff testifying and the whistleleaker being disclosed and testifying not to mention the Biden, Kerry clan.We are perilously close to CWII and had better prepare for the worst before we hope for the best.

These people are diabolically evil!!!!!!!!

not that there should even be a senate trial but Linda and Mitch want to get face time in for 2020 and be known as the ones who saved Trump.

Not sure how it will all go down, but the Democrats can’t afford to ever let this get to the Senate. There must be some procedure available for the House to impeach the President and then never actually refer those charges to the Senate.

The Senate could have a real investigation and that would expose the Democrats and their ‘Whistleblower’ as a partisan hack planted by the deep state. In the end, all the bad exposure Trump is currently suffering will eventually boomerang back on the Democrats and they will end up in opposition in 2020. Somebody likely reminded Nancy that win or lose in 2020, she’s done as the speaker so appeasing their base is necessary for the parties long term future. That and the distraction this fiasco creates is required to prolong the real investigations long enough so that they are never pursued.

If this Eric Ciaramello guy is not the whistlebower, then the Senate should be free to call him to testify.

“Adam Schiff Will be Called as a Witness in Senate Impeachment Trial: Graham”

And if someone calls him out when it doesn’t happen, he’ll just say he had his fingers crossed behind his back.

If there is a trial in the Senate, the first witness should be Mark Zaid -- the lawyer whose Beltway welfare law firm is allegedly representing this "whistleblower."

Zaid would have to identify this whistleblower, or (more likely) admit that the whistleblower never existed in the first place.

If the whistleblower actually DOES exist, he/she is Witness #2. And the names and affiliations of all his/her contacts in Congress are revealed, and become Witness #3, Witness #4, etc.

If there is no whistleblower, then the case is over at that point.
