It is tempting to do a Mid-Week in Pictures special offering today because I have a lot of great material accumulating in my Week in Pictures folder for this Saturday—way more than I will be able to use already. But I don’t want to overdo it. Instead, herewith a post on just two pictures, because each has a good story. First up:
As it happens, I once got the opportunity, about two-and-a-half years ago, to ask Rudy Giuliani about this round of golf: “What was that like?” He answered that Clinton cheated on virtually every hole, usually by hitting more than one shot off of every tee, and while claiming he’d only hit the first shot out in the fairway, actually always played the best tee shot. He slowed up play so much that Bloomberg quit the round in disgust at the 13th hole. Trump, he said, is a good golfer, though I’ve heard different assessments of his golfing prowess, so your mileage may vary.
Our pal David Deeble comments on Michael Bloomberg (probably) entering the presidential race: “If Michael Bloomberg thinks Americans will elect a Manhattan billionaire whose changed his party affiliation multiple times then he’s got another thing… never mind.”
But speaking of Deeble, he recently earned a 12-hour timeout from Twitter for the sin of posting this meme, which Twitter says “violates its ‘community standards’:
That’s where are are folks. You can find actual pornography on Twitter, but apparently you can’t make fun of a disgraced Democratic member of the House.

If you played a lot of golf, you’d understand the difference.
There was an old joke about a guy frustrated with his foursome.
One guy couldn’t drive across water (Teddy Kennedy), the other was always slicing up the fairway (OJ) and the fourth cheated (Clinton).
My golf and bowling scores had way too much in common....
I once broke 80 but enough about the 1st hole.
Bill Clinton cheating at golf is old news. What’s weird is people still let him get away with it. Kinda like Democratic vote re-re-recounts. If you don’t call it out and put an end to it, the D-dog always wins.
When I was a teenager, I bowled a lot with one of my cousins the same age and we both averaged about 200. I couldn’t score on a golf course worth a lick. Now I can score OK playing by the USGA book but can hardly bowl a game over 130.

I went golfing once, then I realized I could be just as bored at home as I could going somewhere to be bored.
I played last week. I had one birdie, one par, several bogies, and more than one 'other'. I was ecstatic.
A golf course is a waste of a perfectly good firing range.
I always scored my golf game by how many clubs I had left at the end of the round.
I am a joke at golf. The first time I played golf, in college, we emptied a golf bag, filled it with ice, and used it to chill beer. It made it less frustrating.
I love shooting golf...the little balls are just hard to hit past 300 yards.
I just count how many balls I lost. If I lose 10 balls, I’m 10 under.
A perfectly good walk, ruined by having to look for lost balls.
I broke 72.
That’s a lot of clubs.
