COLUMBIA, Tenn. -- Another incident of violence erupted at a Popeyes with an employee allegedly body-slamming a woman onto the concrete outside a Tennessee restaurant.
Video of the alleged incident has gone viral and is now the subject of a police investigation.
Witnesses say the attack began after a woman disputed a charge on her bill at the restaurant in Columbia, Tennessee.
A heated argument ensued between the customer and several employees, prompting workers to tell the customer to leave the restaurant. Employees claim the woman then used a racial slur.
Footage shows the woman walking out of the restaurant, followed closely behind by several employees, including a man who appears to lift the woman off the ground and quickly slams her on the pavement.
The woman's attorney said the employee's actions weren't justified.
"If she said something that she regrets, it doesn't give a grown man the right to chase her into the parking lot as she is trying to leave the store, and body slam a 55-year-old grandmother down on the concrete," he said.
The customer's attorney also said the woman suffered nine fractures, including six broken ribs and a broken knee.

Uh, pretty sure the video shows the slam. It sure doesn’t “appear” the perp did it. Maybe they should have used alleged.
If the family of this women doesn’t react, more grannies will get slammed. We basically live in Africa at this point.

so, it looked like a white woman - any hate crime attached ? I mean, against the white woman...
I know it is wrong to think this.... but when I watch these type of videos....I always wish some good guy with a gun would just shoot the bad guy dead and call it done.
The “Body Slam” is pretty well documented. Whether the perp is an employee or not cannot be determined from the video, I guess. But the headline is wildly understated!
Not only that, it looks like asphalt to me not concrete so it’ll probably get tossed since the press tainted the charge. Salute to Veterans!

Forebodingly, the perp was an on-the-clock employee, he was different only in that he was not wearing his hat when he slammed her.
This is a lawsuit dream come true.

And a second hood rat jumps up and down with joy at his partner assaulting an old lady.

I’ve never been to Popeye’s and this seals the deal for me - fugedddaboudddit.
It appears at least this franchise has incorporated black dysfunctional culture rather than abandoned it.
be prepared to have this thread pulled- mods don’t seem to like Popeye videos where violence get video taped- for some reason- They pull threads like this calling it ‘trash’ for some unknown reason- several folks tried posting a video showing a woman employee attacking a female customer- and mods kept pulling the threads a few days ago- it was bizarre-
How is that possible given the police had access to the video and made an arrest?
