Funny that he thinks Trump pulling out of the Paris accord is causing a reversal of climate change. Something like 75% of the countries signed on to this non-binding agreement are not meeting their goals for CO2 reduction. Why would just the notice that Trump is pulling us out of the Paris accord cause a "reversal" of climate change? That's moronic. But then I digress. We talking about a big Lefty here.
I have read and listened to the economist Bjorn Lomborg, who believes in human caused climate change himself but argues that its impact is much less severe than the extremists make it sound. And that the enormous costs could be better spent on other world problems like poverty and potable drinking water.
This is not verbatim, but basically he has said that if ALL (not just some, but ALL) of the wealth available in the world were spent to fight climate change, it would have such a small impact that it would hardly be noticeable and that it would be a complete waste of the world's resources.
This is why so many people don't believe in climate change, or if they do, they are not willing to give up their modern lifestyles to make such small changes in the outcome.
The climate change fanatics like AO-C and Greta the Outraged, are trying to instill fear into the equation and people are just not buying it. The world is not going to implode in 12 more years if we don't commit to this Paris accord or this Green New Deal. Telling people they have to revert back to living in the Stone Age to save the planet is just not credible to most intelligent folks.
Redford's acting career is over and what better way to try and stay relevant than to follow another octogenarian, Jane Fonda, into the climate change morass and act like you are some sort of expert spokesperson for it. Or in Fonda's case, claim you are a climate scientist now, going around getting arrested for protesting inaction on climate change.
The two silver linings in this, is that both these idiots will be gone bye-bye soon. They're both in their 80s.

Why is it that so many celebrities think climate change is our #1 problem & yet the sensible people have it at the bottom of the list of concerns? Only reason I can think of is the normal person has no means of making money off of it.
