..or is he defending the corrupt (former) government of Ukraine/....
The articles I read and info I attained indicated he was upset he was out of the loop regarding information .....he was getting alot second and 3rd hand....Where before Trump he had ‘control’ .....no doubt he was offended and likely greater than that......the tone of the transcript released certainly indicated that ..

I read the linked article, and they did have one veteran who thought it was great that this guy Vindman is engaging in overt acts to overthrow the elected government, says he is a "patriot". They even gave his name and organization: Matt Zeller, an Afghan veteran from a non-partisan think tank
The American Security Project.
It did make me curious, not that my suspicion wasn't borne out:
The American Security Project Board Members include:
- Lieutenant General Daniel Christman, USA (ret.)
- Nelson W. Cunningham
- Vice Admiral Lee Gunn, USN (ret.)
- Senator Chuck Hagel
- Lieutenant General Claudia J. Kennedy, USA (ret.)
- Senator John Kerry
- General Lester L. Lyles, USAF (ret.)
- Senator Warren B. Rudman
- Governor Christine Todd Whitman
- Admiral William J. Fallon, USN (ret.)
- Norman R. Augustine
- Edward Reilly
- Nicholas Clark
Almost all of them are Rats, especially the obvious ones. That was their counterbalancing voice in the article, the guy Zeller.

I do understand why Lt. Col. Vindman would wear his uniform for Congressional testimony. However, I agree that he should have worn his green service dress uniform, not his dress blues, to keep the temperature down somewhat.
