If no one was buying they wouldn’t be selling.

If there was zero or basically no demand for these drugs, the cartels would not be spending millions if not billions of $’s to bring these drugs into America with high risks to their dealers.

Give it away at first to get people hooked, then you can charge whatever you want for it, because they will pay anything to get it.

He’s right. What we should be doing is going after drug buyers, and making their lives sufficiently miserable that they stop.

But that would result in VIPs and their kids being arrested. Can’t have that.

Here, it’s impossible to have “addicted” Americans if the drugs were never brought in to the country.

Eliminate the drugs (from whatever source) and you eliminate the addiction.

Bottom line, there are likely highly placed people on both sides that do NOT want this to stop...for a variety of reasons that we can all figure out on our own.
