Mike Bloomberg is preparing to enter the Democratic presidential primary

Mike Bloomberg, the billionaire former mayor of New York, is preparing to enter the Democratic presidential primary, according to NBC News, which cited a Bloomberg advisor.

The move didn’t necessarily mean Bloomberg was announcing a campaign, a source close to Bloomberg told NBC News. Rather, this source said, he’s doing this to keep his options open. Bloomberg is “troubled” by what he has seen in the Democratic primary, the source added.

“He’s still not sure,” a source told CNBC. This source also said these are “unprecedented times” and that Bloomberg is concerned about what he’s seeing both from Democrats and President Donald Trump.

The New York Times reported Thursday, citing people briefed on the plans, that Bloomberg was working on entering at least one Democratic presidential primary and potential the overall race for the chance to take on Trump in 2020.

so, does anyone really think the barking moonbat nutjob, AOC, Jihad Squad and/or kommie branches of the Dem party will support a Republican billionaire as their candidate?

BS. He’s been “troubled” since 2008, before obamatard entered the race.

He’s just a spineless weasel who cant make up his mind to enter the race..

[Is he going to buy his way in like Tom Steyer?]

By an order of magnitude. And then some. Steyer is worth $1.6b. Bloomberg? $50b. Bloomberg makes Soros look middle class. He spent a combined $250m on getting elected NYC mayor 3x. That’s probably 10x all the other mayoral candidates, *combined*.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-bloomberg-election/bloomberg-spent-over-100-million-for-reelection-report-idUSTRE5AR08320091128

Bloomberg could spend $500m on the primary, and maybe $5b on a presidential campaign. I have zero doubt he could simply pledge his ownership stake in Bloomberg LP as collateral. Would it really be such a big deal if he left his daughter $40b instead of $50b?

What is he in line for, investigation wise? Apparently you can be investigated as long as your running for President (Unless you are a Republican of course).

[He’s just a spineless weasel who cant make up his mind to enter the race..]

I wouldn’t be so harsh. $5b is a big commitment. He spent $250m winning 3 NYC mayoral elections, outspending his opponents 10 to 1. 10 to 1 in presidential campaign terms is $5b. Sure, he has $50b to play with. But $5b isn’t chump change. It wouldn’t surprise me if he spent $10b.

DeBlasio is a penniless commie. Bloomberg has $50b. He spent $250m on 3 mayoral wins, running as a Pubbie, in a city so Democratic, it voted 80-20 for Hillary in 2016. I wouldn’t underestimate Bloomberg’s smarts and money. He’s a self-made man in a way even Bill Gates isn’t, and has operational and political instincts other moneyed political prospects don’t.
