Support for President Trump's impeachment slipped 4 percentage points since mid-October, according to a poll released Wednesday.
The Morning Consult survey found that 47 percent of respondents now back impeachment. In mid-October, a record-high majority — 51 percent — supported it.
The overall drop in impeachment support comes at a time when lawmakers on both sides are trying to gauge public opinion. Polls last month indicated increased support among independents and Democrats for the inquiry, while Republicans stood their ground in defending the president.
The Morning Consult poll surveyed 1,983 registered voters and had a margin of error of 2 percentage points.

Well, time for a false flag, I guess.

I don’t believe it was 51% for impeachment before and I don’t believe it is 47% now.
You can only cry wolf so many times.
We have an election in less than a year. Why is there an impeachment? The people will decide soon. Unless this is an impeachment against the people. Thats it. The people are being impeached.
These results will make them more crazy.
These polls are nonsense right now for the following reasons:
The media has blurred the lines between impeachment and impeachment inquiry.
The country is so divided that there are many, mostly on the TDS left inaturally, who are not thinking about this rationally but just reacting emotionally based on their feelings about Trump.
The media has been reporting how various bureaucrats testify about their opinions over what Trump meant by what he said on the call as if those opinions are some kind of evidence. They are not.
So far the only real evidence is the call transcript and the timeline of the funding delays and eventual release. If a 30 year career bureaucrat tells the Ukraine what he thinks the president meant by that it has no meaning unless that was conveyed to the bureaucrat by the president himself. Otherwise, if the bureaucrat improperly pressures Ukraine based on his interpretation of what was said on the call, the wrongdoing is only on the part of the bureaucrat and not the president.
The fake news media has not made any of this clear to Americans as they should have. And so these fake polls are taking advantage of how people are reacting to being misinformed and uninformed over these events.
I sure hope this is a trend. President Trump needs to get his approval numbers up within the next several months or we are in for a world of hurt.
He best have a plan up his sleeve.

Hillary was a 90 percent certain winner the day of the election.
Polls had her blowing Trump out of the water.
Ever since, approval polls and voting polls have meant nothing.
He is VERY popular, im my guesstimate hovering at 55 to 60 percent.

This trend will continue. Calling for impeacement is kind of like going to war. Many support it at first, then as time goes on support typically wains. Time isn’t on the Democratics side and the more people who figure out this impeacement has nothing to do with Russia and the Mueller report and everything to do with the desperation of the media and Democratics, the more it will cost the Democats in 2020.
Really the fourth sentence tells it all. When are our elected officials going to do the right thing and stop worrying about their political futures? This sham has gone on too long while Congress essentially does nothing of consequence for the American people. Donald Trump is trying to get things done for us and should be supported for it.
Impeachment? Just a distraction.
I just hope Horowitz and Barr do what’s necessary to save the Republic.
