GOP House candidate wants to stop immigration for 10 years
Fayetteville Observer ^ | Sep 1 2019 | Paul Woolverton

A Republican from Wilmington is challenging Republican U.S. Rep. David Rouzer in the 2020 election.

Pete D’Abrosca announced his candidacy several weeks ago. He and Rouzer will face each other in the 7th District GOP primary in March. The 7th District runs from Wilmington to Wayne County and southern Johnston in eastern North Carolina. In the Fayetteville region it has Sampson County and the southeastern end of Bladen County.

D’Abrosca, 27, has two published books (his most-recent is “Enemies: The Press vs. The American People”) and he writes articles and commentary for conservative news websites. He also is the editor-in-chief of The Rundown, a recently launched news website.

In his campaign announcement, D’Abrosca bashes Rouzer as one of the “yes-men” of the Republican establishment that “has actively worked against President Trump at nearly every turn.”

Cut off ALL immigration for 10 years?

Like using a shotgun to kill a fly.

Deport 30 million. Tax them on the way out. Then limit entry for 10 years.

How about 50 years? Can we do that?

“ Like using a shotgun to kill a fly.”

We’ve got tens of millions of non assimilated Third World immigrants - legal and illegal. A moratorium would provide time to assimilate those now here - and stop the Democrat party from turning Texas , Az and Georgia blue with new legal immigrants. Would also allow low-ring wages to rise, by depriving employers of new waves of cheap labor from the Third World

My concern is for persecuted Christians from Syria and Lebanon.

They assimilate well and want nothing to do with ISIS.

Slow it down, maybe. Certainly stop the 2nd or 3rd “attachments.” I love my wife. I brought here here on a K1 Visa.

But I would never try to bring others in her family here. That would be wrong and abusive of the process.

But tell me no K1s and I will have to kick your butt to protect the woman I love (now a US Citizen and she knew so much more about the USC and related subjects they gave her a certification of completion after 3 weeks since she was “confusing” the rest of the students. Why such a brilliant woman married me will be a question for the ages.)

He consistently endorses the candidates he believes can win. It doesn’t mean he likes them. See: Mitt Romney. And he endorsed Strange because he could see the result with Moore.

I prefer “until further notice”.

But this is a good start.

He endorsed Strange - an obvious loser - over Rep Mo Brooks, who’s a MAGA supporter.

After having murdered a huge number of our own citizens in the womb for over 50 years, we need LEGAL immigrants who see the USA as the land of opportunity, not the land of the handout.

Without them, the Ponzi scheme of "social security" will implode.

They must be of a background known to assimilate, not plot to take over.

Not enough. End all immigration for 100 years and send millions back, starting with the illegals.

I agree. We need time for people to assimulate, or get the heck out of our country. We can not support the whole world. We just can’t.
