The word “slave” comes from Slav, the ethnic group that served as the majority of slaves in the Ottoman Empire.
LOL - and as pointed out in the article, it is because the blacks enslaved by the west were not castrated, so they have descendants ;) However, with the efforts of Margaret Sanger and her Planned Parenthood acolytes, they are trying to correct what they see as the error of western ways.
Thank God for the pro-life Christians working so valiantly to protect our fellow citizens!
Arabs enslaving Africans continues today. But never mind that. The UN is not interested.
one of the largest slave owners in America was a black man- infact there were a number of black slave owners-
of course liberals will label those owners as uncle toms to excuse that fact away-
As horrible as the selling of humans was, the descendants of the Blacks that ended up in the US have faired Better than anywhere throughout black history, including those that stayed in Africa
I dont care about slavery historically
It was an improvement for those who made it to North America and Europe
There will always be slavery in one form or another in peoples minds one way or another. But it’s something the black community will never get past even though they are not slaves today here unless by choice.
While many children were born to slaves in the Americas, and millions of their descendants are citizens in Brazil and the USA to this day, very few descendants of the slaves that ended up in the Middle East survive.
While most slaves who went to the Americas could marry and have families, most of the male slaves destined for the Middle East slave bazaars were castrated, and most of the children born to the women were killed at birth.

That's not counting Christians native to those areas that were enslaved.
Yup. Probably some of the ancestors here today wouldn’t exist had the not been brought here.
Thanks for posting.
Well, believe it or not, as dear old Ripley would say, slaves in the muslim world are not an economic resource, but chattel to be used, abused, and disposed of. Slavery in the US was based on this muslim perversion of the long standing use of slaves as a mutual economic resource.
Nothing in the muslim world make sense to Westerners - which is why their horrible countries and their atrocities are excused by so many, why jihadis are said to be a minority when the truth is otherwise, why there are ‘moderate’ muslims - Westerners simply so not understand because they attribute Islam to some form of Christianity - which it is definitely not. Most Westerner refuse to read the 5 holy books of Islam and tend to get upset when someone who has describes what is in them.
Slaves were an economic product.
The very name islam means slavery/subjugation/submission. Tell us again how it’s not them?
