Part of the plan. The secret hearings were used to vet their “witnesses “. Now they know what questions the Republicans will ask and will be ready. The rats will run the hearings and the networks will promote them. The rats have shredded the Republicans here. While the R’s cried about the process the rats were strategizing with the networks for the biggest bang, checkmate. This is how it looks to me.
The Dems have already lost and they know it.

Yesterday DEMs explained they won’t be having witness testimony be public - the hearings to which the “inquiry” referred will be the judiciary committee writing up the articles of impeachment. ROFL ;)
