As to the headline, well... they only own 90% of the news cycle now...

Barr was previously AG during Bush I. As a former prosecutor, he presumably won’t convene a grand jury unless he’s somewhat confident of obtaining an indictment. Nobody knows how anything beyond the indictments will play out, but I expect these people are about to have their lives disrupted for an entire year and perhaps beyond that, if Trump wins in 2020. I’ll raise a glass when I read about these people being indicted.
Some people think it’s all meaningless, because no jury within a 100 miles of DC will convict anyone of doing anything against Trump.
But that’s not the point.
There’s a saying: “You might beat the rap, but you won’t beat the ride”. Meaning that just the process of defending yourself against criminal charges is a big punishment. Just ask General Flynn.
Once the indictments happen, then there will be a whole bunch of low-level swamp creatures who will have to retain lawyers, and face perjury charges if they fail to tell all they know on the witness stand. It will go on, and on, and on into 2020.
But their power has been greatly diminished by the Social Media Censorship that has been put in place. It's great for educating ourselves. but we're still stuck in our ghetto.
The MSM is still "mainstream". Total unique viewers for the three network news casts is about 23 million people. By contrast Fox's best rated shows Hannity and Tucker get about 3 million viewers.
And you wonder: How come Grandma has never heard of Fusion GPS? Or only knows the Narrative that the Trump admin is corrupt and a lot of people have been jailed by that special investigator - but doesn't know what "spygate" means?
As I've been saying for several years now indictments and only indictments of current or former high ranking or famous people will have any impact in changing the narrative and opening it up to the real story of Obama and his team's wrongdoing.
Sessions, Barr, Durham, Trump, Horowitz, Huber and Jessie K. Liu. None have delivered up a single scalp, right up to this moment.
And that's a damn shame. Because if you consume media from the and of the above alternate Right-leaning outlets, or a couple dozen others like them, they you already know who should be in shackles standing trial, and it ain't Rudy Guilliani.
None of our virtuous, straight-and-narrow future (we hope) heroes have delivered anything yet.
Nada. Zilch. Zero Indictments (Much less the 78,000 sealed but soon-to-be-opened ones that the good folks over on the Endless Thread and their 17th Letter Prophet have been promising for two years now).
We can get more and more excited about it's coming soon - but damn, it's still not here.
Meanwhile the impeachment process, crooked as it is, is moving forward and will surely grind to the desired conclusion of impeaching Trump soon, which will further diminish any indictments that do come down as "tit for tat" "retribution" or "butt covering". Damn! That just infuriates me.
I sure hope the A team (Team Trump) gets in gear and gets some points on the board soon.
When I'm down I like to listen to some blues, and to paraphrase one of the great Jimi Hendrix's songs: "at least I still got my guitar Free Republic" .
Sometimes that's just gotta be enough. Another Friday and it has to be, but I sure hope that soon (One more time with feeling; NOVEMBER) I can replace "when" with Finally!.
