Making the grid ‘smart’ and cleaning it up in power line corridors passing thru wooded areas and such is a multibillion proposition.
Upwards of 20 billion for starters is my best guess early on.. The CPUC and PG&E have done no one favors this latest fiasco.
It seems to me that there is plenty of blame to go around.
