AFP reported that 14 people will go on trial in France next May over the 2015 attacks on Charlie Hebdo and other targets that , judicial sources said Today (Wednesday).
The trial will take place between May 4 & July 10, lawyers and a judicial sources said.

It’s France. It could mean anything form actually trying the murderers to trying the staff for some sort of hate crime to trying the dead people for impeding the murderers’ bullets.

So, what is going on!? Charlie Hebdo was from all I’ve read the victim of jihad. IF Charlie Hebdo was the victim, then how does one put the “people associated WITH Charlie Hebdo” on trial? Makes no sense unless the French are putting the satirical product of Charlie Hebdo magazine on trial, of which I would not put past them to do.
Therefor France will say “Thanks for showing up, you did what you thought was right,you’re dismissed and have a nice day”

I remember a Bogart flick where a publisher (Humphry) was put on trial for inciting a riot, because a fascist mob came in and destroyed his printing press, and killed the typesetter. Justice does not move fast enough.
Courts and the body of jurists (in every western country) are saddled with societies that want to litigate everything, sue over everything, write opaque laws subject to interpretation which causes people to act in ways they do not yet know the authorities will classify as illegal, and add their cases to the millions of cases the class of jurists has to hear.
Meanwhile, a murderer, rapist or terrorists knows that the justice that needs to be placed against them will not be swift and they will have many years of life before they will ever face any negative fate for their acts - and then too often they will still get to keep their life.
Maybe what we need to do is make it more difficult to mount civil suits, by moving tons of judges from civil courts to expanded criminal courts, and get criminals the swift justice they deserve.
