Graham to introduce resolution condemning House impeachment inquiry

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) is planning to introduce a resolution condemning the House Democrats' impeachment inquiry process, and argued that any articles should be dismissed in the Senate without a trial.

"This resolution puts the Senate on record condemning the House. ...Here's the point of the resolution: Any impeachment vote based on this process, to me, is illegitimate, is unconstitutional, and should be dismissed in the Senate without a trial," Graham told Fox News's Sean Hannity.

I know it’s a joke isn’t it, all of them. Barr saying the same thing 6 months ago, he’s getting to the bottom of the Russia collusion hoax, what happened? Trump looks into the hoax and they want to impeach him for it. It’s all head fakes to fool the people. Why? Because there is only one party in Washington. The Rat/RINO Uniparty. We do not have any party representing us in Washington. There is Trump and that’s it. The rest represent a Plutocracy that wants to turn us into China so they can cash in.

Sadly, he has no challenger known well-enough who could shake loose his grip on that seat.

How about open hearings in the judiciary committee subpoena-ing every witness who testified in Schiff’s star chamber, and of those who refused to testify, too. Everything in front of cameras.

Well! I certainly hope it is harshly worded.

This guy makes me nervous. Every time he is on Hannity he is pissing vinegar and saying the right things. When the cameras are off he is making off the cuff remarks about being open to voting to remove the POTUS from office (if he sees more evidence). In other words, he is a slimy politician. And the last person you should trust is a slimy politician.

In fact the Dems DO NOT WANT a Senate trial. Such a trial would open discovery to all manner of Democrat chicanery. They believe they are hurting Trump with their incessant bloviating.

Wishful thinking. The Dems would love nothing more than a Senate trial and the beltway chaos it would create.

It isn’t amazing how the GOP always has a good reason to do nothing? And they sure are good at doing nothing. Sternly written letters have stopped exactly zero coups in the history of the world.

THAT’LL show ‘em — better than a strongly worded letter!

I am curious. What exactly would you like then to do? Should they protest more about the process?

Just to understand. A one-sided “trial” and the only information allowed is that which is fed to the media favorable to impeachment. A witness can say anything they want. Then Adam Schiff releases bits of information, interpreted to what he hears.........kind of like his Congressional lie on the Ukraine transcript? Yeah, this is a lynching.

Sunshine is the best disinfectant. The IC IG needs to testify as to why rules were changed. Call Obama’s Ukraine ambassador. Establish the fact Obama did nothing for them while Russian army tanks invaded them. Call Biden Jr., etc. Really, this isn’t difficult. I can only conclude at this point the GOP Senate wants Trump impeached.

Right- at this point ‘condemning’ the Democrats as a remedy, is like giving a band aid to a hemophiliac

Sometimes I don’t even like to read these threads because of the defeatism...it’s depressing.

Things do move slowly, but a lot of that is because of Dem obstructionism and some of it is the process. For example, Graham cannot have a vote until he is sure his resolution will win it, which means rounding up the rest of the GOP Senators.

“Liberty and Union, now and forever, one and inseparable!” This echoes in the halls of the Senate, but nobody is listening to the cry for justice. While the House pulls the levers of Government for purposes that were never derived to be used in such a manner as to openly and brazenly propagate the greatest injustice against a sitting President this nation has ever witnessed. The majority of voters whose voice is ignored that won this election is being nullified by injustice and the corporate media controlled by the leftwing political interests are in lock step with their Democrat leaders running like lemmings over a cliff and dragging the nation with them. So much injustice, vile and despicable, back stabbing people in the dark hiding under anonymity and nurtured by the deep dark state and now openly hidden by the House from the light of day. One can only hope and pray that statesmen in the background are in fact fighting for justice and truth and in the end the Senate takes up the Resolution now offered by Lindsay Graham to condemn the actions of Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff. For the Senate to bring back sanity to our government and openly and in the light protecting the liberty and sanctity of the Presidency and right a terrible injustice.

The “fix-is-in” for the DNC/CPUSA/GOPE to impeach, convict & remove Trump BEFORE any Barr/Durham indictments.

The communist coup d’etet is almost complete...and Cocaine Mitch and Miss Lindsey will not attempt to stop it.
