Democrats emerging Tuesday from the closed-door testimony of the top diplomat to Ukraine were tight-lipped on details but effusive on a central point: William Taylor, they said, was delivering the most damning testimony yet in the Democrats' impeachment investigation into President Trump.
"Without question the most powerful testimony we've heard," said Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-Mass.), who sits on the Oversight Committee.
"This testimony is a sea change. I think it could accelerate matters," Lynch continued. "This will, I think, answer more questions than it raises."
Lynch described Taylor, the U.S. chargé d'affaires of Ukraine, as a "meticulous" note-taker who had kept detailed records of his involvement in the months-long effort by Trump and some of his closest allies to pressure Ukrainian leaders to find dirt on Trump's political rivals.
"He indicated that he kept extensive notes on all of this," Lynch said.
Rep. Tom Malinowski (D.N.J.), a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, also suggested Taylor's testimony was supportive of the central allegations facing Trump and his dealings with Ukraine.
"I would say it certainly filled in many of the remaining gaps in the narrative," Malinowski said.
"I would say he remembered some things that previous witnesses have not been able to remember."

It's so funny to see these assholes continue their BS in their firm belief that enough people believe their BS to get the ball rolling on an astroturf cause.
Honestly, these people need to have fear of citizens instilled into them in a most memorable manner. I am looking forward to them getting their well deserved comeuppance.
It looks like they'll be slinging shit every which way but loose in order to deflect the incoming fire from Barr and Durham. Hopefully.

This whole impeachment stunt is another fabrication by the hate-Trump democRATS.
I believe there were republicans at the meeting. My understanding is that Repubs on the intelligence committee have been allowed into these interviews all along (per Chad Pergrim-FNC)

Who on earth would believe a word that comes out of that closed door investigation? Adam Schiff, Pelosi, Schumer et al. They don't like President Trump because he is tearing up their sand box in D.C. and they don't like it SOOOO they're trying to impeach a duly elected POTUS.... :
