Hate mail must have been something awful. Warmongering not selling to the rank and file.

If these knee jerk Republicans would just sit quietly and LISTEN, they could learn a LOT at the feet of the master. They’re master debaters when it comes to knowing the CONS of any issue, but are sorely lacking in the PRO department.

I think Lindsey Graham is solidly in President Trump’s corner. Every so often, he, McConnell and other Republicans like to “stand up to the President” to show the public that they are not yes-men. They make critical public statements and vote against him in non-binding resolutions, but in the important things they do the right thing.

If you think about the Kavanaugh hearings, the fact that Lindsey Graham did NOT have a reputation for being particularly pro-Trump made his defense of the judge far more powerful.

Since then, he has come to be seen as a steady supporter of the President - maybe too much so. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that he and the President had sat down to explore ways of removing the pro-Trump stigma and help make him appear less of a yes-man.

Maybe if Miss Lindsey would talk to the President before spouting off about how insane our president is, more people would start taking her seriously.

Essentially no...

Trump is probably the one exception. At least that is what it seems like most of the time.

I think that’s a fair assessment.

Ever since his post-McStain transformation, I tend to look for the good side of Sen. Graham.

He may not be everything we might want in a senator from a Southern state — but he’s a lot better than Mitt Romney, or any RAT.

Actually, the only senator I think is 100 percent on the side of the patriots is Louisiana’s John Kennedy.

As for the rest, we just have to deal with them the way they are — a collection of big egos with little action to back it up. At least McTurtle is getting judges confirmed.

But even at their worst, Pubbies don’t want to completely trash the Constitution and set up a one-party dictatorship.

There is no such thing as a good RAT. Failing to vote GOP because a candidate isn’t ideologically pure enough is a recipe for the ultimate takeover of communism.

Lindsey is finally acknowledging that President Trump is smarter than him and can see big pictures instead of stray political “opportunities”...

“There is no such thing as a good RAT. “

Right, the politician Rats are all evil.

I do know some Democrat voters that are actually very good people. Sadly, they have let themselves be infected by the lies and hate being spewed by the fake news, the Leftist celebrities and the late night talk show hosts.

When I talk to these people, I find they want the right things - peace, prosperity, freedom, compassion, fairness, mercy, health, education, etc....

....but they really think the good guys are the bad guys, and the bad guys are the good guys.

I have tried to figure out what makes them so susceptible to lies - whether it is stupidity, upbringing, or what. I just can’t figure it out. There are some (otherwise) smart people on that side of things. I am a musician and artist, and all our “folk heroes” are Lefties. All the words to the songs we grew up with have a leftist agenda. Even the singers themselves spoil their own live performances by bringing Leftist politics into it and using their TV interviews to spread Leftist propaganda - no wonder almost ALL my musician and artist friends are Trump hating Leftists.

Maybe it’s just wishful thinking, but I think the Democrats’ fake news is stretching it way too far in the age of Trump, and it’s all going to come crashing down around them - and SOON.

When I watch Tucker Carlson play these video montages of ABCNNBCBS talking heads repeating the same word or phrase, it is so blatantly scripted - they LITERALLY get a memo instructing them what propaganda to force feed their Democrat viewers!

Now, I know the Democrats are just watching one network or the other - they aren’t flipping the channels or watching Tucker Carlson make fun of the blatant group think - they don’t get to see the montage - but it is real and it’s blatant. How long can it be kept a secret from them? Even the Democrat voters are THAT gullible. At some point they will see a Republican ad showing one these montages. Nobody appreciates being taken for fools - once they figure it out they will be angry.

The fake news is underestimating many of them. The DNC has overplayed its hand and is in for a big surprise, come 2020. Many life-long Democrat voters are on the verge of cutting free of the Democrat party.

Thanks for your long and thoughtful reply to my post.

I have to imagine it must be hard to be a patriot musician when so many music celebrities are loudmouthed leftists.
Country & Western would be an exception, I guess.

That’s one reason I’m glad I’m a really serious classical music buff. If Bach had a political agenda, it certainly has eluded me.
