A heads up for patriots. I received a notification from the offices of NC pols Richard Burr, Thom Tillis, and Virginia Foxx that they had received and would soon reply to correspondence from me. I had NOT (this time) created the correspondence. Turns out a group called “Seniors Speak Out” (SSO) and “Voter Voice” (VV) had forged my name and email address to the correspondence delivered to Burr, Tillis, and Foxx.
I found the administrator of SSO “Nona Bear” and SSO’s blog, twitter, and Linkedin accounts. None of the direct message functions allowed contact. Turned out that VV had a functioning contact phone and “Tamika” was able to remove my name from the database of both SSO and VV.
I made a report to the FBI Internet Crimes Division, Identity Theft.org , my local police, and called the three pols offices to give them a heads up. Foxx’s office was able to pull up the letter and read it to me. THIS time the letter was about an upcoming bill and (lucky for me) was not a threat or other such nonsense. Last thing I want is the Secret Service knocking down my door over something I did not write.
Keep an eye on your email notifications. In this heated political climate expect nefarious activity from now until the elections. Report it.

Add to their list of accomplishments...Steals and forges names and emails for marketing/lobbying correspondence to politicians that may or may not reflect the opinion of the victim/constituent.
HLC appears to be advocating for the privatization of healthcare if Sourcewatch is accurate. Odd than an AARP guy would be for that.
