Kurdish mothers determined to not leave their sons to PKK

The terrorist group also started implementing and adopting an urban warfare strategy in 2015 to carve out enclaves within Turkish territory while using the local population as human shields, using the experience obtained by the YPG during the civil war in Syria. In this urban warfare strategy of the PKK, many children from the local population were recruited to control the streets and engage in clashes with security forces.

In July, the PKK and YPG admitted to recruiting children between the ages of 11 and 16 for terrorist activities in a meeting with a U.N. representative. Virginia Gamba, the U.N. secretary-general's special representative on children in armed conflicts, met with a YPG terrorist in Geneva and signed a deal to end the recruitment of child soldiers. However, the practice of abduction to recruit terrorist militants still continues.

Yet another post from the Daily Turk. If you start posting from Iranian papers, they’ll tell you everything about why the Great Satan needs to be wiped off the planet.

Yeah and from an unbiased and sane source!! :)

GTF out of here.

Make a real argument or go watch TV

You do know they are guarding THOUSANDS of ISIS members, a number of whom have already have escaped.

Trump didn’t issue that statement yesterday SLAMMING Turkey because the Kurds are doing the massacre.

AND Turkey LOVES seeing isis members freed since they bought TONS of oil from them and gave them free passage when iSIS was at its peak

Read up. It’s fundamental.

Just because Trump is fulfilling a campaign promise to end US involvement doesn’t mean we need to start demonizing the Syrian Kurds and cheering for the Turks and their Islamist Arab allies.

The Kurds have wanted Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, and Armenia to give the Kurds land/territory from their own sovereign nations. The Kurds will fight forever for land that they probably will never get.

The Kurds are an Iranian ethnic group but their main languages are Kurdish and Zaza-Gorani. [You KNOW I couldn't have made THAT up.]

It's a most interesting site.

Things went 100% downhill after the ousting of the Shah.

Pretty hard to get people to understand that there is a difference between the Iraqi Kurds and some of the Syrian Kurds.

The “Kurds” is simply a political agenda at this point. Not one a-hole Democratic had anything to say when the Kurds would be ripped to shreds, woman fighters raped or worse and their population would constantly be in constant fear at all fronts which included McCain’s ISIS boys fully supported by the Kenyan President Obama and international criminals Clinton and Kerry. I feel very sympathetic generally to parts of the Kurd cause. The left ignores the complexity of the Kurd politics that is left of America. It’s all about hating Trump.

The Kurds have wanted Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, and Armenia to give the Kurds land... from their own sovereign nations....

Iran, Iraq, and Syria were created by the bureaucrats in the British Foreign Office with little regard for tribal, national, boundaries, etc. Some sovereignty.

Guess the Kurds didn’t kiss enough butt back then to get their own country.

The Kurds have been fighting each other for centuries. The chieftains have been in charge...still are, and probably always will be.

And, who in his right mind would want that dry, useless, land?

Iran, Syria and Iraq have been around since the time of Christ...different names, maybe, but essentially the same cultures.

Damascus became a town VERY early, be on because it had and still has TWO completely separate fresh water wells. THAT is why ANY town was settled in those dusty lands.

Google: Founded in the 3rd millennium B.C., Damascus was an important cultural and commercial centre, by virtue of its geographical position at the crossroads of the orient and the occident, between Africa and Asia. The old city of Damascus is considered to be among the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world.
