Bolton wanted White House lawyers alerted to Ukrainian efforts, called it 'drug deal,' witness tells Congress

Former national security adviser John Bolton was so disturbed by the efforts to get the Ukrainians to investigate President Donald Trump’s political opponents that he called it a “drug deal,” former White House official Fiona Hill reportedly told Congress on Monday.
Hill, the former top Europe expert in Trump’s White House, testified that Bolton told her he wanted no part of the effort that involved acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney, a person in the room for Hill’s testimony told NBC News. Bolton also was said to have referred to Rudy Giuliani as a "hand grenade."
Giuliani has acknowledged in recent interviews that he had asked a Ukrainian prosecutor for information about former Vice President Joe Biden.
The New York Times first reported details of Hill's testimony Monday night.
Trump fired Bolton in September.
Hill testified that Bolton told her to report the situation to the top lawyer at the National Security Council, John Eisenberg, according to the person in the room for Hill’s testimony during the closed-door hearing.
Hill told lawmakers she considered what was happening to be a clear counterintelligence risk to the United States, the person said.
Giuliani said that he was disappointed to learn about Bolton's reported comments.
"I always liked and respected John," the president's personal attorney said after hearing about the testimony. "I’m very disappointed that his bitterness drives him to attack a friend falsely and in a very personal way. It’s really ironic that John Bolton is calling anyone else a hand grenade. When John is described by many as an atomic bomb."

We had ‘Blanket Parties’ and I’m not talking about the Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon kind!...........
We had those in basic, but in the field we had far, far worse.
He disputed that he was fired.

I don’t doubt that Bolton is angry and shouldn’t be trusted. I’m just saying that he must not have said much to Fiona Hill, or I’m sure the leaks would have been crafted to be a lot more damning against Trump than what they were.
I don’t think he is Deep State. Rather, he is a prima donna who misses the limelight. Bolton’s brilliance is so obvious to himself that he can’t understand why others, in particular the President, didn’t see it and simply do as he directed. Apparently, brilliance turns to bitterness when the spotlight is removed.
That would make him a classic narcissist. DC is jam packed with ‘em.
I think we know now what was the issue that got him fired.
Its not really that much a secret whats been going on in Ukraine the last decade or two. Soros/State Dept/DNC have turned it into their colony and piggy bank. If we the unwashed can see it, you know Bolton would know it. So for him to characterize it as “going after Biden” when in fact it is exposing major corruption, much bigger than Biden... let me emphasize it - much much bigger than Biden - suggests he is connected to some of the people involved.
Look at the title, Bolten likened the Trump phone call to a drug deal. Now seeing Bolten is the subject and the call had nothing to do with deals or drugs, hyperbole is in evidence.
Try guessing who is the hater...
Or, THAT is the impression the Deep State “leaker” wants you (and me) to think: What did Bolton really say?

So it sounds like Bolton is an outright traitor.
Bolton is a backstabbing deepstater. This was bound to happen when Trump fired the warmongering neocon. If Trump is kicked out of office it will be because of Bolton. I have never trusted the Capt Kangaroo-looking SOB,
