The problem will be that liberal Christians will back the persecution, support it even encourage it. Once the non-liberals are gone, the persecutors will turn on the liberals,

It’s happening in the Churches, falling away from the direct teaching of Jesus and The Scriptures, and in active revolt from The Father.
As it says in 2 Corinthians 4:17... For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
The guy makes sense, and we should prepare. Don’t let your love grow cold. Trust God.
And I’m saying that to myself as anyone else.

Jesus said that when the time comes when you’re brought before the authorities he will put words in your mouth. Never give up the faith. I was being sued by an evil person in an arbitration court and I didn’t prepare or bring notes because I knew I was right. I prayed the Lord’s prayer and psalm 23 before the hearing and that was all my preparation. I destroyed the plaintiffs arguments with ease. I approach all serious situations in the same manner and it works. Thanks to God. Now the real test will come during the time of tribulation if I hope not to be alive during that time.

Very good advice. Make it a priority to keep the best your parents gave you.
Pr. Brunson is exactly right. We have to prepare spiritually, intellectually and emotionally. Read the stories of men and women who’ve been persecuted. Study their lives and response to the persecution. It’s not to say that it will completely prepare you for what’s to come, but you will have some knowledge about the evil one’s ways. How long before elected Democrat politicians start to attack the written word of the Bible, and start pushing for the Bible, as now written, to be deemed “Hate Speech”? And, demanding the Bible to be rewritten, removing all language deemed “hateful”?
Just imagine how much fun the progs would have given the opportunity to “cleanse” the Bible?
For starters, all references to He or Him would be neutered. For sure, all references to homosexuality will be gone. Also, any thing that causes old fashioned “hang ups” for Christians, like “Thou shalt not commit adultery” and condemnation of fornication...gone.
Don’t think it won’t happen? And, it may not be as far away as you think, given the all out open unashamed rejection of truth telling by media corporations we are now witnissing.

It is happening everywhere. Our little church was filled with old people but that displeased the pastor who wanted a younger congregation, so the teaching became more liberal, women guest preachers, etc, until the whole group has broken up. Persecution will come from many directions and times in life. It seems not all will come from known liberals but those claiming the name of Jesus will be wolves in sheep clothing.
The man is right. We are potentially one election cycle away from an erasure of the Bill of Rights.
