In some foreshadowing, national democrats are dragging down local democrats.
Meanwhile, Trump is boosting local pubbies.
Just prior to the election, polls had Edwards with 47%, Riposte and Abraham with 22% and 20% respectively and two other minor candidates combining for about 3%. This left 8% undecided and and up for grabs.
If Edwards could split the baby and get just under half of those undecided, he had it.
The Dem strategy to accomplish this included a last minute smug robocall from Obama. Trump’s strategy was a massive last minute rally in Lake George.
In the end, pretty much all of that 8% went to the Republicans.
I found it excellent and a good sign for 2020.
Of course AP didn’t include the President’s whole tweet because of their political bias.
The two republicans received 51% of the vote. Edwards got 47%.

There’s too much use of personality hate Trump preferences as the excuse for quote, impeachment, unquote. It’s a distraction from the real reason. What should be looked into and brought to public attention is the connection to the corruption used by the swamp creatures Trump would put a screeching halt to. And offered as the real reason why democrats are going after Trump.

Federalist—According to Burisma’s website, Joseph Cofer Black (Romney adviser) was appointed in February of 2017 and continues to serve on its board. The timelines would indicate that Black and Biden worked together at Burisma, and indeed, web archives from late 2017 show Black and Biden listed simultaneously on the board.

KYIV. Oct 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden received $900,000 for lobbying activities from Burisma Group, Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada member Andriy Derkach said citing investigation materials.
Derkach publicized documents which, as he said, “describe the mechanism of getting money by Biden Sr.” at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine’s press center in Kyiv on Wednesday.
“This was the transfer of Burisma Group’s funds for lobbying activities, as investigators believe, personally to Joe Biden through a lobbying company. Funds in the amount of $900,000 were transferred to the U.S.-based company Rosemont Seneca Partners, which according to open sources, in particular, the New York Times, is affiliated with Biden. The payment reference was payment for consultative services,” Derkach said.

Obama went public across all of Louisiana pushing his boy, John Bel Edwards for Governor re-election, with thousands of “ROBO” telephone calls to Democrats across the entire state of Louisiana to get out and vote. Obama & Edwards failed miserably, getting only 46% of the primary vote, forcing Edwards into a runoff election in November, where the Republican candidate for Governor will slaughter Edwards...politically. Edwards lost his chance to hit 50% of the vote by about a 100,000 vote margin!!! Game over for both Obama & Edwards....Game won, hands down by POTUS, Donald J. Trump....period!!!
