You are correct. They made it impossible to beat the Demonicrat scumbag Terry McAuliffe in the governor’s race by refusing support of Cuccinelli. That, combined with some typical dem election shenanigans doomed Cuccinelli in the race.

It would be some poetic justice if he were appointed to some high-level federal position where he would have administrative power over the governor of Virginia.
