Louisiana Governor - election today. Everybody vote!! Polls close at 8pm. If any candidate gets a majority (51%) of the vote in the first round that candidate wins the election.
Just like Hillary!
Kiss him good bye. Both GOP candidates getting 52%. Its over for Edwards.
BB committed today that Shep Smith departure meant Fox would broadcast even fewer true facts.
Watch Jefferson, Orleans and East BR.
To your Bob Beckel question.
70% in and Edwards still at 45%
I think we have our runoff
President Trump asked & he received.
Don’t think Edwards can do it....He’s down by 71,000 votes and if Orleans contribution rate remains consistent he’ll pick up an additional 68,000 votes when all the parish is counted. Even if he lost no more votes in all the other parishes it wouldn’t be enough.
Not tired of winning!
Amazing how much Trump has done for the Republican party yet how little the party leadership has done for him
Currently looks like top two Republicans have more than 50% of vote. Runoff will mean DEMOCRAT incumbent will lose. A loss for Nancy Pelosi and her stupidity.
Devastating for him. GOP will do much better in the run off. Dems wiped out in LA. Music to my ears.
Hi, mrsmith-
That’s my thinking as well.
Too many votes can be pooped by the Dems.
East Baton Rouge 69% in
Jefferson 80% in
Orleans 54%
78% Edwards 46%
Its an open primary.
**************
It is if the candidate can get 50% plus one vote.
Looks like 70 percent of East Baton Rouge is in so that is close to the 77 percent total vote that has been counted with Edwards at 45.7 percent that the NY Times is reporting. Looks like about 80 percent of Jefferson is in. And now over half of New Orleans is in. I don’t see Edwards getting over 47 percent.
Jefferson is looking like a wash. Still a lot of votes in Orleans. Looks like 60,000-70000 Dem vote margin left in EBR and Orleans. A few significant margin counties for the good guys to provide some votes It will be close.

I'm certainly no expert in Louisiana politics, but this guy predicts a Republican Supermajority in the legislature.
The "win" in Louisiana extends far beyond forcing a runoff for Governor.
Edwards at 45 with 80% in
