To the extent that US forces were guarding ISIS prisoners is not a function our soldiers should be tasked with over the long term, at least IMHO. It’s a waste of time, money, and our men’s lives. Exception: GITMO.
I am almost to the point of wanting to revert to that ancient practice of having the leaders of two factions/countries suit up, duke it out, and decide the conflict in mortal combat.
