Hayes used to be able to connect dots when 99% of the rest of the media were doing an Obama-loving blackout of news. Now he acts like Chris Hayes.
Jonah admitted long ago that he had a personal axe to grind with Trump and I GUESS you could say he’s consistent so far but like so many writers who achieve a certain amount of popular appeal he turned it all into a personal psychodrama. Anyone who disagreed with him was a troll...anyone who asked him to compare scenarios, results, etc. was engaging in ‘whataboutism’ according to Jonah - it was his way of sticking fingers in ears and shouting loudly to avoid debate.
And so we have another NR even as the NR ships water. What a business plan.

Steve Hayes and conservative don’t go together.
I wasn’t familiar with Hayes before 2016. He appeared on Fox before a POTUS debate and I genuinely thought he was a Democrat the way he disparaged President Trump.
No doubt this “conservative” rag will immediately ban any contrarian points of view supportive of POTUS.
These websites are the modern version of the old time author financed vanity press business model. These establishment political writers find rich donors and write whatever the donors will pay for.
NR is dead, it's time for these folks to move on to something other than a magazine, their opinion, news, insights are basically worthless.
You know, I don’t want a “conservative” news outlet or a “liberal” news outlet. I’d LOVE to get a news outlet that reports the facts without bias or opinion, so I can reach my own conclusion without “narrative”.
They’ll get plenty of money from stupid fellow never Trumpers and no readers.
